After allegations of a hidden surname by her mentor, Ayesha Shroff, Katrina Kaif has come out in the open and confessed to having her original surname changed when she entered Bollywood. With this revelation, one is bound to wonder about the reason behind this stealth on part of the most-charming star of contemporary Bollywood.

But the actor’s reply was as clear as her complexion! She said simply, “For people wondering, yes, my passport name is Katrina Turquotte. I changed it because it`ll be easier for people to call me. Nothing more.” Various reasons might be raising their heads in the minds of her fans, but at the end it is the usual supplication to her fresher than ever charm. So, ‘nothing more’ on her name change!
