After much dilly-dallying, Imtiaz Ali is ready to take his film ‘Rock Star’ on the floors. The film, conceived a long time back, has seen much shuffling in the cast, from John Abraham to Saif Ali Khan, who was seen in Ali’s last film Love Aaj Kal.

But now, Ali has zeroed down on the cast. Ranbir will play a rockstar and Katrina his ladylove. Needless to say Ranbir would have to learn to play the guitar for his role. The songs for the film would be composed by Imtiaz’s favourite and trusted Pritam.
