Ranbir-Katrina’s Jodi to Star in Raj Kumar Santoshi’s New Film

It seems like the new stunning pair of Bollywood is Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. After their success in the laugh riot, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ and in the political thriller, ‘Rajneeti’, they might star together in Raj Kumar Santoshi’s next. The pair has done great work in their past two films together and this is the reason the industry is going bonkers to see them again.

Raj Kumar Santoshi’s movie, ‘Ashtavinayak’, will be a romantic comedy and it will star Ranbir and Katrina as a pair. It has been written by Santoshi along with the production house of the movie. It may also star two more actors and another actress. Roles have not been finalized yet.

However, Raj Kumar Santoshi has an image of someone who does not complete his ventures. He was supposed to make a modern-day Ramayana with Ajay Devgan as Ram and Kajol as Sita but it never saw the light of day.

He had also planned to make a film based on the play ‘Jis Lahore Nahin Dekhya’ with a backdrop of partition with Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan in the lead but this project too never took off. Yet sources claim that Ashtavinayak is a project that Santoshi is extremely serious about, and he is extremely keen to start working on it. After the success of ‘Ajab Prem…’, Santoshi considers Katrina as his lucky mascot.
