Three Tamil language promos of Endhiran, starring Aishwarya Rai and Rajnikant, have been posted on YouTube and frankly we don't know what to make out of them. The quality of the trailers is dismal, and we can only wonder as to the reasons why? Maybe the filmmakers didn't want to steal the thunder from the theatrical trailers, and are hoping movie goers flock to theatres to watch them.
Endhiran is rumored to be one of the most expensive films ever made in the country and its backers have many crores of rupees to recover, and it ain't going to happen just because the Rupee has a new symbol, which we incidentally don't like, though the whole country is raving about it.
We didn't say the whole country is going GaGa about it because we don't like Lady Gaga either. The film is touted to have some mind blowing special effects. The ones that you get to see in the trailer are like more sanity blowing than mind blowing
Anyway, we are known to be cynical and to rant without a reason, albeit using less colorful language and thoughts than Mel Gibson. You folks make the call. Here are the trailers. The film is due in theaters on September 3. Please go and watch it, because there is no way we will go and watch it! Having seen the trailer we have had our mind blowing thrill!
