Piping hot Evelyn Sharma steals the show at IRFW in Goa!

Bollywood newbie Evelyn Sharma is fast turning into Indian fashion's favourite muse! After walking the ramp for the who's who of the designer world, Evelyn opened the show for ace designer Rocky S with a bang at the India Resort Fashion Week (IRFW) on Candolim Beach in Goa this week.

Grapevine has it that a steaming Miss Paraguay 2012, Nicole Huber, was originally supposed to open the show, but Rocky S changed his mind last minute, when he saw the ravishing Evelyn walk into the event and asked her to open it instead.

Latest rumours have it that the new fashionista could be one of the showstoppers, besides Paris Hilton, for Narendra Kumar's show too.

Creating this much noise, the half-German half-Indian Evelyn will be seen in at least four upcoming movies next year.

These start off with Rohan Sippy's Nautanki Saala with Vicky Donor star Ayushmann Khurrana and Delhi Belly fame Kunal Roy Kapur; followed by T-Series' Yaariyaan, the directorial debut of Super Cassettes icon Bhushan Kumar's wife Divya Kumar; and Manish Tiwary's Issaq opposite Prateik Babbar.

Last but not the least, Evelyn will be seen in a pivotal role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji's much awaited Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, under Karan Johar's banner Dharma Productions. Way to go gal!

Evelyn to Dhak Dhak her way into Bollywood!

Bollywood newbie and fashionista Evelyn Sharma is gearing up for her new movie Nautanki Saala to rock Bollywood. And from what we hear, it has some fantabulous songs.

But to give her that special pep and charm, is none other than ex-superstar Madhuri Dixit's nineties chartbuster Dhak Dhak Karne Laga from Beta. One can easily remember those days when the junta went mad over Madhuri's bust-thrusts in the song.

Now the suave Rohan Sippy is attempting to recreate the Dhak Dhak magic as he directs Nautanki Saala; pegged as a quirky romance, co-produced by Ramesh Sippy and Bhushan Kumar.

The song featuring the entire cast of the film will have the half-German half-Indian Evelyn dressed in an ultra-glam sari.

She will be seen gyrating hips with Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunaal Roy Kapur to the beats of composer Mickey in the film, which also has a cameo by none other than Abhishek Bachchan.

When we inquired how Evelyn plans to match up to the charisma of Madhuri Dixit, her publicist Dale Bhagwagar cheekily replied, Just by being herself` Now, that's a smart-alec remark indeed! But let's wait and watch if this Dhak Dhak can get our heartbeats racing all over again!

Evelyn Sharma gets Cornflake!

Bollywood newbie Evelyn Sharma has been termed a fashionista my many in the industry. But then, what's a fashionista if one does not have a branded bag, a splashy dress, a Barbie doll face and cute puppy in tow!

Think of it, Evelyn's got quite a few of these right at her first go. She got branded bags! She got splashy dresses! She got a Barbie doll face! And now she got Cornflake!

Cornflake? Did we say Cornflake? Yeah, you heard it right! That's what Evelyn's new brown mini poodle is called. What!?! Really? Yeah, really! But why? Because it's a brown puppy! Has flakey looking hair! Is little! And crispy... oops... we mean, cuddly! And looks like cornflakes!

Ok, but why not Cornflakes? Why just Cornflake? Evelyn has a very logical answer to that! `But he's just a little one. Only one little flake. A cornflake,` she cheekily quips. Woof... we mean... uff!

`Wonder if celebrities would now call their puppies Popcorn, Biscuits, Chocolate, Coffeepup etc etc etc,` jokes Evelyn's publicist Dale Bhagwagar. We think he too wants his share of being 'corny'! Rotfl!

Evelyn Sharma caught partying hard with Kolaveri Di boy Dhanush!

Just hours after walking the ramp as a showstopper for ace designer Nazia Syed, Bollywood newbie Evelyn Sharma was spotted club-hopping with Tamil actor-turned-filmmaker Dhanush K Raja; as the Kolaveri Di boy turned 29 this week.

A birdie tells us that ever since Evelyn visited Chennai for the inauguration of a gymnasium last month, she has become good friends with the `Why This Kolaveri Di` (Why This Murderous Rage, Girl?) boys - music composer Anirudh Ravichander and actor-writer-singer Dhanush.

After the two had flown down to Mumbai for Evelyn's birthday bash a few days ago; she returned the gesture by heading to Chennai for Dhanush's birthday bash this week. We even got to know that the boys took her on a club-hopping tour with a bunch of friends celebrating Dhanush's birthday in pomp and style, while they all danced the night away in maddening frenzy.

The half-German half-Indian Evelyn has already signed five movies before her debut this week with the comedy From Sydney With Love. Wonder if this new-found friendship with Anirudh and Dhanush will add a Tamil movie to her over-flowing kitty!

Evelyn Sharma to star with Ayushmann Khurrana

The half-Indian half-German Evelyn Sharma, who made news as Bollywood's latest fashionista sometime ago, seems to be emerging the first foreigner after Katrina Kaif to get a good grip on Bollywood.

The newbie hasn't even completed a year in the industry yet, but has just tucked her fifth film in her over-flowing kitty this week.

Evelyn will now also be seen playing a lead with Vicky Donor star Ayushmann Khurrana, Delhi Belly fame Kunal Roy Kapur and newcomer Pooja Salvi in Rohan Sippy's next!

When Sippy offered Evelyn `a beautiful role` with her friend and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani co-star Kunal Roy Kapur; she did not hesitate a bit and jumped on board with enthusiasm.

`Having shot for four movies, my acting and especially my Hindi diction, have improved a lot, ` quips the girl, who inspite of her half-foreign origins, dubs for herself.

Evelyn will be seen making her debut with a funky role in the comedy From Sydney With Love releasing in the first week of August. Directed by veteran filmmaker Pramod Chakravorty's grandson Prateek Chakravorty, the film's songs and promos have already gained good popularity with the youth.

The girl is also working hard towards her first full-length lead in T-Series' next tentatively titled Class of 2013. She plays a glamorous dream girl in the movie, which happens to be the directorial debut of Super Cassettes icon Bhushan Kumar's enterprising wife Divya Khosla Kumar.

We’ve seen an ‘event’ful week with promotional jigs for Bol Bachchan, Cocktail and Barfi along with restaurant and magazine launches. But while known names like Priyanka Chopra, Nargis Fakhri, Sophie Choudry, Ileana D’Cruz, Jiah Khan, Shriya Saran and Shazahn Padamsee vied for attention, one name that shined naturally bright was Bollywood newbie Evelyn Sharma.

A thoughtful choice indeed; considering Evelyn not only turned heads at various fashion and corporate events, but also shared the stage with the ladies man Akshay Kumar at the music launch of her debut film From Sydney With Love (FSWL).

Shaking up the fashion world off late, Evelyn stole the show when she wore a stunning pink dress with an adorable hairdo at the Blackberry Prosche event, followed by a gorgeous black KhushiZ gown at the FSWL music launch; fabulously matching up to Akshay Kumar’s black suit.

To add to this, the beauty was spotted rocking the fashionista styles with a very graphic Nishhk (Nishka Lulla) skirt, paired with a sexy ruffled blouse at the Nokia App Tasting event in Tote.

And as if all this hi-glam show wasn’t enough, the stunner blew more minds away at the launch event of the Ellipsis restaurant hosted by designer Arjun Khanna. Donning a simple FCUK red dress with cherry red lips, Evelyn turned out to be one of the few to dare the 1920s theme of the party!

Evelyn Sharma is Bollywood's latest bikini sensation!

With an Indian father, a German mother, and a name resembling one of Hollywood's biggest superstars Marilyn, Evelyn Sharma has come to be hottest Bollywood import since Katrina Kaif!

The international model-turned-actress who bagged three films in less than a year, has now signed on her fourth project with music industry giant Super Cassettes (T-Series) to play a parallel lead in their forthcoming production.

Tentatively titled 'Class Of 2013' the film will be the directorial debut of young gun Bhushan Kumar's wife Divya (Khosla) Kumar.

It can be noted here that Evelyn is already a part of films like Manish Tiwary's ' Issaq' opposite Prateik Babbar and veteran filmmaker Pramod Chakravorty's grandson Prateek Chakravorty's debut film ' From Sydney With Love'.

Recently, she also made news when she was signed up for a pivotal role in Ayan Mukerji's ' Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani', the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer under Karan Johar's banner Dharma Productions.

"When I came down from far-end Germany, I had never anticipated that I would get such a warm welcome from Bollywood, " says Evelyn. "Its a privilege to be signed up by such reputed banners even before my first release, " adds the newbie.

Meanwhile, Divya Kumar has asked Evelyn to tone up her body as she is to wear a lot of bikinis in the movie. "I'm doing lots of pilates and am on a very strict healthy diet, " reveals the actress who will play "a hot but angel-like" dream girl in the film.
