Meera gets younger by a decade!

Pakistani super star Meera who dabbled with some forgettable Bollywood films like Mahesh Bhatt's Nazar and Rajiv Babbar's Kasak, has dropped another shocker for the audiences.

Though the internet lists her age as close to 38 years old, this week Meera is reported to have told a journalist, she is just 27. We wonder how that can be!

Much before the drama queen made her Bollywood debut, Meera entered the Pakistani film industry Lollywood in 1995. If she is 27 in 1012, she would have been 10 in 1995; which is impossible, considering she entered films as a full-fledged heroine.

When we inquired about her age with her Bollywood publicist Dale Bhagwagar, he smiled and remarked, The age of a lady doesn't mean a thing. Let Meera be! She is young enough to start reading fairy tales again.

Oh yes, both Meera and her publicist seem to be living in a fairy land, with Meera getting younger by the day! Or rather, by the decade!

Meera loses her Sherdil

Just a week after a wannabe Bollywood starlet filed a complaint about her dog being stolen in Mumbai, Pakistani super star Meera has done the same in her home country.

The actress, who dabbles with Bollywood from time to time, is reported to have filed a complaint, accusing unidentified men of stealing her German Shepherd called Sherdil from the Defence area of Lahore this week.

Apparently, Meera's brother Ahsan who registered the complaint on her behalf at a local police station in Lahore said, the dog was taken away from outside their residence.

Surprisingly, the complaint is said to have valued the dog at rupees three lakh as it has also worked in a television drama series earlier and is considered an asset to Meera's family.

Last week, Meera had also announced that someone stole 10,000 dollars from her purse, while she was attending a bridal fashion week show in Lahore.

We inquired with Meera's Indian publicist Dale Bhagwagar about the actress being robbed so frequently, but he evaded our query. All I can tell you for now is that I have no hand in it, he quipped cheekily.

Meera claims Shoaib Akthar broke her engagement!

Pakistani superstar Meera feels that cricketer Shoaib Akhtar is behind breaking up her engagement with her fiancé Naveed Shahzad.

Meera who was engaged to Naveed was getting ready to marry him this year. But she says, Shoaib, who she had dated earlier for a year-and-a-half, instigated her to-be in-laws.

Resultantly, “they suddenly began making fake allegations about me. Naveed’s father Raja Pervez Ashraf accused me of theft and also falsely claimed that I was married earlier and that a divorce was pending. They did this drama for cheap media hype.

All this hurt me a lot and I felt terribly humiliated, ” says the actress who has now called off her marriage plans.

On asked why she parted with Shoaib earlier, Meera said that she caught him cheating on her. “I warned him, but he just wouldn’t understand the concept of a one-woman-man. I wanted to marry him, but he wasn’t serious about our relationship, so I had to leave him.”

Meanwhile, Dale Bhagwagar, Meera’s publicist in Mumbai, confirmed that the actress has plans of visiting India to discuss a couple of Bollywood offers she’s received.

Meera in Bigg Boss 5?

After Pakistani actress Veena Malik, actress Meera will be a part of Indian TV reality show Bigg Boss season five, the official website of the reality show said quoting a media report.

According to the newspaper, Meera couldn’t make it into ‘Bigg Boss’ house this season, she is positive about being a part of season 5 and already has her agenda clear in mind, it said.

“I will be part of ‘Bigg Boss 5 InshaAllah,” Meera revealed.

Meera claims she was also approached to be a part of Bigg Boss 4 twice, but she refused it.

Rumors circulating recently that Meera will enter in Bigg Boss 5 with singer Salman Ahmad.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 4 housemates Rahul Bhatt, Shweta Tiwari, Sara Khan, Veena Malik and Sakshi Pradhan were spotted at the party of their housemate Ashmit Patel thrown by sister and actress Amisha Patel.
