Lara Dutta cover girl again

Lara Dutta surprised us (and how!) with her babelicious curves in Blue and though we don’t care so much about the movie, we can assure you that this bikini babe certainly had all our attention. The former Miss Universe, who recently got engaged to tennis star Mahesh Bhupati, has always had an envious figure and she’s not afraid to show it off. “I’ve never been a size zero and I’ll never be. I’m curvy and that’s my USP.”

Kareena & Saif Ali Khan's relationship in big trouble

Kareena & Saif Ali Khan's relationship in big troubleSaif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, one of the hottest couples in B-Town, reportedly had their share of trouble recently, when Saif’s two kids, along with their mother Amrita Singh, had gone to stay with Saif at his Bandra residence. Kareena Kapoor has to face Saif’s kids when they visit him in Mumbai. Normally, whenever Saif is with his kids, Kareena used to give them some space and leaves them for a while like she did during their recent holiday in London. However, she refused to pamper the kids though Saif wanted her to during their recent visit. This led to a breach of communication between the two for six days at a stretch.

However, reports say that when Saif and Kareena had gone to a Cineplex in Mumbai to watch the premiere of Anjaana Anjaani, Saif’s kids were there, all happy to be with Kareena and dad Saif Ali Khan! Well, what could one say but ‘All’s Well in Love and War.’

Sonakshi Sinha’s Fat to Fit Body Tale

Sonakshi Sinha’s Fat to Fit Body TaleYou could define it as the Sonakshi/Sonam syndrome. And it’s making itself amply evident across the world including India, among young girls shedding their extra kilos to sport a svelte figure. Sonakshi Sinha the lead actress in the bollywood blockbuster “Dabangg” is a far cry from the plump girl that she was till only a year ago. According to some Bollywood reports, Sonakshi Sinha was around 30 kgs overweight before she made her big screen debut into the Bollywood Industry. Anil Kapoor’s Daughter Bollywood Star Sonam Kapoor too is reported to have been some 90 kgs before she debuted in “Saawariya”. From overweight adolescents to fab figure femmes, these actresses exemplify an increasing trend among young girls. Isnt that great???

According to one of the country’s obesity consultant and practising dietitian Deepika Bhalla, the frequency with which she comes across such cases of young girls wanting to lose weight is alarming. “Girls who’re happy being plump in school suddenly become conscious of their looks when they turn 16 or 18. And since that’s the time when their college life also begins, they’re at pains to look their best. There is also a great deal of peer pressure to look better than your friends,” says Deepika Bhalla, adding, “And the advantage in these times is that you can lose weight pretty quickly, thanks to our medical science that all the treatments, diets and advice available in the market.”

While losing excess weight is a good thing, as perhaps may be the case with Sonakshi Sinha, trying to get a Perfect 10 figure overnight is a dangerous trend, warn experts. According to clinical psychologist and psychotherapist Varkha Chulani, “The size zero like Kareena Kapoor flaunts attracts girls towards equating beauty with the kind of figure they have. And they start believing that they need to have a perfect figure to look great. This results in over-exercising and going under the knife, which jeopardizes their body.”

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan: New flick Kiddie War

It seems all is not hunky-dory on the Saifeena front. Apparently, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor got into a slight argument which lasted a few days; six to be exact. It all started with Saifu told his Bebo that he would like for her to be their mom too. As usual, his kids, Sara and Ibrahim came over to spend time with their father. Normally, Bebo lets Saif handle and bond with the kids alone but this time, she decided to stick around. While Saif was busy pampering and babying his kids, Bebo chose not to which upset Saif. An argument over the children put the couple into non-verbalization mode with one another.

It took all of six days for the tension to finally dissipate and the kids finally went home. While Kareena chose to take a, "It’s nonsense" stand on the apparent argument, sources claim the lovers have chosen to let this one go and move on. In fact to put the media to rest, Saif, Kareena and the children were seen catching a private screening of Anjaana Anjaani.

Kareena is said to be incredibly fond of children. The children on the sets of We Are Family absolutely adored her while Bebo is an ardent fan of her niece Samaira. While her house has framed drawings of her niece, nothing of the sort from her beau’s kids as yet.

Shahrukh Khan and Khichdi Movie team togather

Last Friday was the happiest day in the lives of the entire cast and crew of movie Khichdi, why? Well because of two reasons, first their movie Khichdi released on box office to try its luck and second is that they got to meet none other than the king of bollywood Shahrukh Khan. In the past also ‘Khichdi - The Movie’ team unveiled their movie’s poster in front of Shahrukh’s house Mannat, cast of Khichdi, Supriya Pathak, Anang Desai, Rajeev Mehta hold Shahrukh in high regards because of the reason that Shahrukh Khan is probably the only star who made it so big after moving from television. In a small conversation with FilmiTadka at the sideline of the meet, the cast added – “Shahrukh has taught us modesty, we thank srk for taking out time from his otherwise busy schedule”.

At the event Shahrukh was his usual self inspiring everyone around him, he also appealed to audience to watch the movie, this is what is said – “Please go out and watch this film if you feel like laughing with your family, I can assure you it will be a fun filled evening”. “Khichdi - The Movie” is sort of a sequel to the hit television serial Khichdi, though the humour in the serial was predominantly carried by PJs still it used to be a hit and an hilarious extravaganza, all we can say is that take Shahrukh’s word and go watch the movie, otherwise read FilmiTadka’s verdict and then make your mind.
