Deepika puffs away in new film

Deepika Padukone smoking cigarettes in Karthik Calling Karthik has hit the headlines. But the model- turned - actress is not proud of her smoking experience during the film.

I had to learn to smoke for the film and I am not really proud to talk about it. But then it's an occupational hazard.

Sometimes films make you push yourself and sometimes you have to learn certain things," she says.

In fact, the makers had to get organic cigarettes for her because she wasn't comfortable smoking normal cigarettes.

Deepika also turned into a choreographer while shooting for the club song Uuf Teri Ada in the film. She says:

There were no steps in the film and director Vijay (Lalwani) said, 'have a blast and do your thing'.

Deepika plans to spend the Valentine's Day "with someone I love". But she quickly adds mischievously:

The day isn't about lovers only. You could be with your dog, parents, friends, etc." Ask her about her exboyfriend Ranbir, she says: "Ranbir is very talented but he has a long way to go. He has a lot of fire in him." But she did add Shahid, Salman and Aamir to her list of favourites.
