Deepika Padukone to replace Priyanka Chopra

Director Siddharth Anand’s next flick Two States based on novelist Chetan Bhagat’s fiction was announced a few days ago.

It was also said that, actors Saif Ali Khan (playing a Punjabi Boy) and Priyanka Chopra (playing a South Indian girl) will play the lead characters of ‘Krissh’ and ‘Ananya’, respectively. But the recent buzz suggests that Deepika Padukone will probably replace Priyanka as the female lead.

A source informed that producer Sajid Nadidwala and director Siddharth feel that Deepika Padukone is a better choice for the role of a South Indian girl than Priyanka. The makers of the film are not revealing anything on records. If the change happens, then we may get to see the Love Aaj Kal pair on-screen once again.
