New Kajal in the life of Ajay Devgan

The tinsel town was abuzz with the affair between the beautiful actress Kajol and the daring handsome Ajay Devgan. Their love story culminated into marriage and they are known as one of the most successful star couples of Bollywood now. However it is true that the second Kajal has appeared in Ajay’s Life.

Her full name is Kajal Agarwal. She is the leading lady paired opposite to Ajay Devgan in an upcoming movie. She is an established actress in the Tamil, Kannada and Telugu movie industry. Chandamama in Telugu and Saroja in Tamil are her big cine hits. The Telugu flick Magadheera is so far her biggest block buster and has firmly placed her in the hearts of the audience. She earlier appeared in a mini role in the Hindi movie Kyun…..Ho Gaya Na. She played the role of a friend to the heroine, Aishwarya Rai.

The Hindi remake of the southern film Singam is undertaken by the director Rohit Shetty. His initial plan was to cast Anushka Shetty in the film, opposite to Ajay Devgan. However, this was not to be. Anushka had a busy schedule and she declined the offer. The director approached Kajal Agarwal next, who readily accepted the offer. This is her first appearance in a Hindi movie, in a central role.
