After a year filled with big releases and a lot of chaos, Irrfan vows organise his timetable much in advance
Most actors in Bollywood often live out of their suitcases, as they jet from one city to another completing their shoot schedules and promotional activities. However, Irrfan has decided to take things a little easy from next year and organise his timetable much in advance.
The actor confesses that he often picks up too much on his plate and ends up having little time for himself. Having recently appeared in Ang Lee's ambitious 3D film, the National School of Drama alumnus has already wrapped up Tigmanshu Dhulia's upcoming sequel and is currently shooting for Nikhil Advani's forthcoming action thriller.
I try to do a lot of things at once! No wonder I'm so disorganised. Having said that, if I connect to the script, I instantly agree to the film. There's no set formula, says Irrfan.
Although the actor tries his best to spend as much time as possible with his family, he usually finds himself on plane shuttling between cities.
I try to get out but it's difficult with my work. From next year onwards, things are going to be different. I'm going to plan stuff in advance, as I don't have the tendency to plan. That's why I end up doing too much!
Irrfan recalls, I've been in situations where I have had to choose. For instance, I was supposed to be with the promotions of Life of Pi for months given the international scale of the film but at the same time I was already committed to Nikhil's film. Something similar took place during Paan Singh Tomar and The Amazing Spider-Man.
