Five best things that happened to Anushka in 2012

The year is coming to an end and actress Anushka Sharma, known as a spontaneous and natural performer in Bollywood, talks about the five best things that made 2012 a year to remember.

Listing them down, she told: "Buying a new house, signing Raju Hirani's film ('Peekay'), 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' release, signing more brands and changing my manager have been the highlights of the year."

Currently, the actress, who is four years old in filmdom and has hits like "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi", "Band Baaja Baaraat" and "Ladies Vs Ricky Behl" in her kitty, is eagerly waiting for her next release "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola", in which she has teamed up with Imran Khan and seasoned actor Pankaj Kapur.

Anushka and Sushant in an ugly war of words

While merrily lashing out at "competition" (read Deepika Padukone), Anushka Sharma also took a snipe at Sushant Singh Rajput, stating: "Sushant has only eight days of work (in Raj Kumar Hirani's "PeeKay"). He is just a small chapter in my life."

Taking deep umbrage to what is being seen as an attempt to undervalue newcomer Rajput, a source said: "Isn't Anushka pissed off about her colleagues trying to downplay and downsize her stardom? Then why is she doing the same to another colleague?

Why is Anushka commenting on the length and breadth of a co-star's role? How does she know the size of Sushant's role? No one except probably Aamir has read the full script."

Setting the record straight, the source said: "Yes, it's a relatively small role. At a time when he (Rajput) is playing the lead in a Yashraj Film, he has agreed to do the role in 'PeeKay' for one reason only. Rajkumar Hirani.

It was Sushant's dream to work with Hirani. When he was offered the role, Sushant was over the moon. Hirani warned him it's a small but important role. Sushant said, 'Doesn't matter sir, even if you ask me to walk from one side of the frame to the other I'd do it'."

Apparently Sushant has not charged a single penny for the part.
The source added: "Hirani gave Sushant Rs.20 as the signing amount and asked him what he'd like as his fee. Sushant refused any payment, got the Rs.20 laminated, framed it and hung it on the wall of his living room. That's the kind of regard Sushant has for Raj Kumar Hirani."

Sushant role in "PeeKay" would be billed as a friendly appearance. "He will be seen at the beginning of the film. His character then disappears and reappears at the end," said the source.

"Anushka wants her colleagues to stop commenting on her roles. She should follow what she preaches," the source added.

Sushant Singh Rajput remained unavailable for comment.

Anushka bowled over by Pankaj Kapoor

For actors they say, there is never an end to the learning curve. On the sets of her new film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Anushka Sharma was in for a mighty surprise

After seeing her co-star Pankaj Kapur's convincing performance as a wealthy drunkard, she couldn't believe that the senior actor is a teetotaller in real-life.

Kapur plays the actress' father in the film. A source says, Kapur plays a flamboyant and rich guy who loves wine and women.

In several sequences, he had to appear sloshed. Being the actor he is, he gave a perfect take every single time.

Apparently it was only halfway through the film's shoot that Anushka realised that her senior co-star abstains from drinking. The source adds, Now, she is a fan of Kapur.

More trouble for Raju Hirani's Peekay featuring Aamir, Anushka

With three senior crewmembers quitting the project, Raju Hirani's debut production seems to be in a real soup

Yet another blow to Raju Hirani's long-pending project PK! Our sources say that with three heads of department quitting the project, one after the other, Raju's first film under his production banner has suffered a big blow.

An industry source says, After the success of 3 Idiots, when Raju announced this project, everyone thought it would be over in a jiffy. But some or the other problem seems to be plaguing the project. Now, no one is sure when the film will actually take off.

Buzz is that the film's executive producer Bimal Oberoi (worked on Singh is King and Ferrari Ki Sawaari), line producer Atishay Dayal (Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, 3 Idiots and Luck By Chance) and production manager Nikhil Agarwal (Ferrari Ki Sawaari) have quit the film apparently due to the constant changes in its schedule.

The film was initially to start last September in Italy and everything from the location to the bookings had been finalized. The source adds, At the last minute everything was changed and a new location was to be decided. Now, the entire process will have to start all over again.` The filmmaker's spokesperson refused to comment on the issue.

Movie Review: Jab Tak Hai Jaan will be remembered

Starring: Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Anupam Kher

Director: (Late) Yash Chopra

Ratings: * * * *

Jab Tak Hai Jaan is the film from the man who taught the country how to Romance and fall in Love. Yash Chopra, The 'Legend' who recently left the world said Jab Tak Hai Jaan would be his last film as a Director and wished his film would be a great HIT. Maybe God was in the good mood that time, God granted his last words as the last wish and brought him to heaven to make films for the Almighty.

From the film, Shah Rukh Khan also proved that he 'Is' still the 'Baadshah' of Romance and Love. Shah Rukh was absolutely right in one of his Interviews, Jab Tak Hai Jaan is not just a Film for him, It is much more.
Samar Anand (Shah Rukh Khan), assigned with the Bomb Defusing Squad of the Indian Army is a man who flirts with death at every step of his life. He has successfully cut short the lives of ninety-seven bombs and is on his ninety-eighth one when the film begins.

There is Akira Rai (Anushka Sharma) a twenty-one year old intern and is dying to get placed with the Discovery Channel. The girl dives headlong into the freezing cold waters of a crystal-blue lake with Major Anand sitting on the banks.

She passes out in the water and a nonchalant Samar saves her, makes her wear his jacket and rides off on his Motor Bike. Once in the room, off falls Samar Anand's diary from one of the pockets of his jacket on to Akira's hands and the girl is transported back in time into the life of a twenty-five year old Samar.
Samar there, loves Meera (Katrina Kaif). A girl who hates 'brown, boring' Indians and dreams that someday she will get married off to some English 'Gora'.

But destiny has other plans for her and by a complicated turn of events that involves Meera learning music from Samar, both fall in love with each other. Meera's already had her `arrangement` - engagement, in Samar's words. A series of promises to Jesus, Samar goes off to the Indian Army.
Shah Rukh Khan's performance can make many more smitten by him. The arms-outstretched pose, Khan knows how to make his ladies fall for him. The world will start falling in love with him again. King Khan is back.

The another 'Best' and 'Amazing' performance is by Anushka Sharma. This girl will surely play with your hearts by her Charm and Smile. Katrina Kaif does full justice to her part. She is very much convincing.

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh with their extended cameo are Brilliant. Watch the scene where Katrina meet's up with Neetu Singh. This scene will surely give tears in your eyes.
Yash Chopra before leaving the world once again proved that he is a 'Legend'. Only he can make 'Romance' come alive on the Indian Screen, Only Yash Chopra could have made those mesmerizing locales of Pehalgam and Ladakh come alive on celluloid.

Full marks to (Late) Yash Chopra and his execution over Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Musically, A.R.Rahman is just Mind-Blowing. All of his songs from JTHJ will be remembered.

There's another unsung Hero of the film, Anil Mehta's camera-work, Which leaves you speechless with the most beautiful locations captured in a most unique way.
The film will be remembered.. The performances will be remembered.. Yash Chopra will be remembered.. Jab Tak Hai Jaan will be remembered... Jab Tak Hai Jaan!!!

I don't put on weight : Anushka Sharma

Excited about the release of her film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', Anushka Sharma was longing for some family time this Diwali

Diwali is turning out to be a frenetic one for Anushka Sharma. The leggy lass has been travelling all over the country to promote her film. But she's content with the fact that she'll be getting to spend some time with her family on the festive day. I think I will end up working on Diwali. But I am very excited about my film and want it to be a huge success,  she says.

So, what are her plans for the festival? Diwali has always meant spending time with family. My mother will do the traditional Lakshmi Pooja at home. We will decorate the house with lights and diyas. In fact, she's been single-handedly preparing for the festival.

She always buys a bit of gold on Dhanteras and clothes and sweets for our staff and their families. I haven't shopped as such but will wear a new sari or salwar kameez.
With Diwali being the festival of indulgence, how will Anushka manage to stick to her diet? I am blessed with a wonderful metabolism. I don't put on weight even if I eat the richest of delicacies. I love besan and motichur ka ladoo and cham cham.

On an emotional note, Ansuhka also reveals how she used to wait for her dad to come home every Diwali when she was a kid.

I grew up in Bangalore. Dad was in the army and would be away from home for months. For me, the best Diwalis was when dad was home. I have always been daddy's little girl. And when he was home I never used to leave him even for a minute.

Further, she says that she loves Diwali celebrations in Mumbai. I love seeing lights all around me. Mumbai looks like a lovely bride during Diwali. And it's great to see people finally taking time off from their hectic lives in this fast-paced city to enjoy some time with dear ones.

Imran and Anushka go Haryanvi for Matru Ki Bijlee...

Vishal Bhardwaj, who earlier explored the badlands of western Uttar Pradesh for "Omkara", wanted a rustic Haryana setting for his new film "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola" and set costume designer Payal Saluja on the job. And what an image change it turns out to be for its stars Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma!

'Chocolate boy' Imran has turned a Haryana boy, complete with full beard, earrings and muscles. And Anushka Sharma, marked for her Punjabi image, wears a grungy look. Veteran Pankaj Kapoor wears two looks - one classy and another as rustic as it gets!

Set in a Haryana village, the comedy-drama is about Harry Mandola (Pankaj), an industrialist whose life revolves around drinking and daughter Bijlee (Anushka), and both father and daughter share an unusual bond with Harry's Man Friday, Matru (Imran).

Bhardwaj was clear in his directive, says Saluja. "He wanted an authentic Haryana flavour in the look of the film."

It was a challenge given the cast.

"Imran has an urban look and image. We had to add a rustic flavour. Vishal didn't want a raw-looking protagonist since he wanted to show the character as educated and well-travelled. So we worked around a modern rustic look for Imran, " Saluja told.

For his character, Imran was made to wear a 'khamiz', the tunic worn by men in the region. He was given a 'gamcha', the handy scarf slung across the shoulders. He also sported a heavily bearded look during the shoot and went out of his way to get his ears pierced to wear 'murki' (gold earrings worn by men in the region).

The usually lean Imran beefed up to play Matru. The fair-skinned actor was also given a natural tan to become what Saluja likes to describe as a "sexy rustic man".

"Imran was accommodating. He wanted to get comfortable with the accessories and used to wear them and the costume even after the shoot. The look is not caricaturish, and he carried it all naturally, " said Saluja, who earlier worked with Bhardwaj on "Saat Khoon Maaf", "Ishqiya" and "Maqbool".

Pankaj Kapoor, who Saluja considers is a "bank of knowledge and talent", was given two looks.

"He is naturally rustic looking. So for one look, he had to look like a rich, classy industrialist. We had to design a businessman's image. We used natural fabrics like linen in muted tones like grey, beige and off white, and accessorised it with hats and stoles. We sourced some high-class hats from Europe.

"For Pankaj-ji's second look, we went into the interiors of northern India, to Rohtak, where you will find people who are as Jat as it gets. So we drew this look through the people in the villages, " said Saluja, who took a month for her research to style the movie.

Anushka's look required some mix and match. So far, Anushka has been seen as a city girl with Punjabi touch but this movie sees her in a different light.

"For one sequence, we got a 'desi ghaghra' made. It is traditional and its 'ghera' was made out of 26 metres of cloth. The ghaghra, made by locals, was heavy, and despite Anushka's tiny waist, she used to wear it happily, " she said.

When so much work goes into designing looks and wardrobe for the cast, the budget has to be big.

Bhardwaj was kind with the budget, says Saluja, refusing to divulge any figures.

"Vishal understands costume well. He takes a lot of interest in each department, and so it is satisfying to work with him, " she said.

The film is expected to come out January.

Yashji was way cooler than Aditya Chopra: Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma talks about working with the late filmmaker on 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'

Dressed in a white ganji and denims, a bespectacled Anushka Sharma talks about her forthcoming film. She tells us about working with the late Yash Chopra and how he's cooler than Aditya Chopra. Her love for travelling and how two actress (Katrina and her) can work together...

You are the only actress who has worked with both Yash and Aditya Chopra...
Working with both Yashji and Adi in the first place feels just awesome. It feels like an achievement. I feel special. Yashji is just way cooler than anyone I have ever met.
Did you feel you missed out on the white chiffon saree that Yash Chopra heroines are famous for?
Not really, my character is not like that; she has to be reminded that she is a girl. I wear a lot of white ganjis in the film, so it is the equivalent of the white chiffon sarees. When I saw Dil To Pagal Hai, I would run around the house like Madhuri Dixit wearing a chiffon dupatta thinking I'm the coolest thing in the world.

You love travelling in real life and in the film you play documentary film maker...
One thing that I live in the world for besides my family is travelling. I suffer from travel pangs if I'm in Mumbai for a long time. Two of the happiest things for me this year is my new house and my Schengen visa.

Within a year, I have been to Italy, Spain and France. When I'm shooting abroad, I take a few days off and check out a new place. In fact, I'm like a hippie. While shooting for this film I got to see Kashmir and Ladakh places I had never been to.
It is also your first two heroine project. How was it working with Katrina Kaif?
We all are grown up. When you are in a film, you know what you have signed up for. It is a Yash Chopra film and I'm honoured to be part of the list.

Have you finally signed Anurag Kashyap's next with Ranbir Kapoor?
Yes, all the paper work has been completed.

Shah Rukh Khan is still delicious: Anushka

Anushka Sharma, who started her acting career with Shah Rukh Khan in 2008 movie "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi", will be seen romancing the superstar once again in forthcoming love saga "Jab Tak Hai Jaan". The actress says that even after four years, SRK's charm remains the same.

"He is equally delicious. Yes, in my first film it was an acquired taste because I didn't know him, but with this film, I got to know him better, " the 24-year-old told reporters during the promotion of the film in the capital.

"Jab Tak Hai Jaan" releases on Nov 12 and it also stars Katrina Kaif.

Sharing her first experience with SRK, Anushka said she still remembers the "nervousness" that she had during the shooting of "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi".

"I was really scared, but he made me so comfortable and I am always grateful to him for that. Shah Rukh as a co-star is a blessing. In 'Jab Tak...' I was more of a friend. But both the times, he was lovely and the best co-star one can ever had, " she added.

We were treated like stars in Gujarat because of Mr Bachchan

Vishal Bhardwaj says shooting his new film in Gujarat was a cakewalk, all thanks to the State's brand ambassador the Big B Amitabh Bachchan. In fact the shooting nearly came to a halt when Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma were unceremoniously asked to leave an important location where most of the film was shot.

One phone call to the Big B and from him to the powers-that-be solved what could have been a critical loss of time revenue and faith for the crew of Bharadwaj's Matri Ki Bijli Ka Mandola.

That Gujarat is turning out to be an alternate paradise for filmmakers in Mumbai is proven by the increase in the number of films being shot in the State. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Nikhil Advani are currently shooting their new films Ram Leela and D Day, respectively, in the Kutch district of Gujarat.

One hears Ajay Devgn and Vipul Shah are planning to buy land in Gujarat to build studios in the State.
Could these developments denoting Bollywood's movement towards Gujarat have something to do with the Big B, Amitabh Bachchan being the ambassador for Gujarat tourism?

It has now come to light that the Big B stepped in at a very critical moment to bail Vishal out of a crisis when the filmmaker was shooting on location in Rajkot, Gujarat.

Suddenly things started falling apart.

Says a source very close to the project, Vishal had a certain kind of location in mind. He needed a particular haveli for Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola. He finally found it in Rajkot. Luckily for Vishal the haveli was available for shooting. Everything was finalized. But then some suddenly, a government rule regarding relics and heritages came up, and the deal fell apart.

In a panic Vishal got in touch with the Big B.
Says our source, Amitji and Vishal go back a long way. Vishal has been desirous of working with Amitji forever. And Amitji is a fan of Vishal's work. Vishal got in touch with Amitji about the haveli in Rajkot. One phonecall is all it took from Amitji to get the haveli back into Vishal's shooting schedule. Vishal owes Amitji a big favour. If it wasn't for that haveli in Rajkot Vishal's film would have been stuck.

Vishal Bhardwaj confirms, Yes, Mr Bachchan got us permission to shoot in the haveli. And not just that, the permissiom to shoot in Gujarat was obtained by him. Because of him we were treated like stars in Gujarat.

While this incident has definitely brought the Big B and the enterprising Bharadwaj together we also hear that the two are most certainly getting together for a movie next year.

Anushka plays documentary filmmaker Akira in Jab Tak Hai Jaan

Anushka Sharma's character in "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" (JTHJ) has been revealed - she plays Akira, a documentary filmmaker, in the movie and sets out to chronicle the life of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's character in it.

Akira is an employee of Discovery Channel, and she wants to make a documentary on army officer Samar, played by Shah Rukh. The movie is the last directorial of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, who passed away earlier this month.

The audience will discover the entire story of the film through Akira's eyes.

"We are honoured to have associated with one of India's foremost film stalwarts - the late Yash Chopra, " Rahul Johri, senior vice president and general manager - South Asia, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, said in a statement.

A Yash Raj Films (YRF) official is also hopeful this integration will work in favour of both - the movie as well as the channel.

"We wanted to associate with the leading non-fiction channel and we are happy to partner with the world renowned Discovery Channel. We are certain that viewers will enjoy Anushka's refreshing character as a Discovery Channel employee, " said Ashish Patil, vice president, YRF.

The film, said to be a love triangle, also stars Katrina Kaif, and is slated to release this Diwali, Nov 13.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan title song finds space in end credits

The title song of Yash Chopra's "Jab Tak Hai Jaan", which could not be shot due to the late filmmaker's death, will now be placed in the end-titles of the movie. It will have visuals capturing moments from the film's shooting.

The song was to be initially shot in Chopra's favourite destination Switzerland, with Katrina Kaif in the trademark chiffon saris. But the shoot remained incomplete as Chopra breathed his last Oct 21.

Now the song will be used. The decision was taken at a flash-meeting held at the Yash Raj Films studio last week, immediately after Chopra's chautha, where Aditya Chopra met up with the film's lyricist Gulzar.
"Gulzar sahab felt that the song shouldn't go to waste since it is not only the title song, but also was very close to Yashji's heart. Although Yashji couldn't shoot the song it was decided that the song would now be used along with the end titles of the film," said a source.

It is also being contemplated that the end-titles would feature visuals showing some takes and moments during the shooting of the film.

"'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' is being packaged as a befitting send-off to Yashji," the source added.

The film features Katrina, Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan, in what appears to be a love triangle. A grand premiere is being planned for the movie, which releases Nov 13.

Imran has looked the hottest as Matru: Anushka

Bollywood actor Imran Khan, who will be seen in a brand new Haryanvi avatar in his next film 'Matru ki Bijlee Ka Mandola', said initially the character was very tough for him and he thought he had made a big mistake taking it up

During the first script reading of the film, I was unable to say the Haryanvi dialogues. It was not easy, I felt I made a big mistake and I should back out,  he said at the trailer launch of the film here Tuesday evening.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the comedy-drama also stars Anushka Sharma, Pankaj Kapoor and Shabana Azmi. 'When I told him (Vishal Bhardwaj) I won't be able to do it, he said he was sure I could. He had faith in me, even when I didn't, the actor added. The actor will be playing such a rustic role for the first time and said that he devoted almost two to three months in preparing for the it.

'The role is different. It required a lot of preparation for almost two and a half months. I have always felt that the more we rehearse, the better we perform,  he said. Imran has often worked with new directors like Shakun Batra and Abhinay Deo, but the actor was happy to work with an experienced director this time.

He (Bhardawaj) was very calm on the set and guided all the performers. Even if something was not working out, he would find a way to make it work. He knows the right way to do things,  he said. Talking about Imran's look in the film, Bhardwaj said that he wanted to give him a completely different look.
I wanted to see Matru in Imran. I had liked him in 'Delhi Belly' but I wanted to do more. He was very patient with me and we finally achieved the look,  he said referring to the actor's over grown beard and rustic look in the film.

All of Bhardwaj's films have strong female characters and the director seems to have maintained the same with his heroine Anushka Sharma as well.

My female characters are always very strong. It comes naturally. I see women as stronger than men in real life as well,  he said. Talking about being paired with Imran for the first time, Anushka said that she never thought they would look like the way they do.

This is the first time we are working together. I never thought we would look like this. But Imran has looked the hottest in the film,  Anushka said.

Anushka Sharma in Avunu Hindi remake?

After scaring the wits out of the audience in Telugu, the suspense-thriller "Avunu" is likely to be remade in Hindi and Anushka Sharma may be roped in for an important role.

Ravi Babu, who directed "Avunu", told: "Talks are on to remake the film in Hindi, but at this moment everything is in the preliminary stage. I really can't add anything more. Anushka may play the role of the protagonist, but it is the producers who will take the final call."

"Avunu" revolves around a family which started feeling the presence of an unknown force in their house. The film, starring Poorna and Harshavardhan Rane, was co-produced by Flying Frogs, Suresh Productions and PVP Cinema.

Will you direct the Hindi version also?

"If I get to work with someone as talented as Poorna, then why not! Moreover, the decision to cast me as a director lies with the producers," Ravi Babu said.

"Avunu" was simultaneously made in multiple languages. However, the makers are yet to release the film in other languages.

Link up rumours with Anushka and Deepika have really upset me

Ranveer Singh on working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 'Ram Leela' and being constantly linked to his co-stars

Dressed in a pair of track pants and a jacket, Ranveer Singh is high on adrenaline. The conversation starts with his new film with the actor being at his fluent best. With a short career of two films, he speaks about his share of success, alleged link-ups and upcoming projects.

You are known to go all out to befriend directors. Does networking help get films?
If you are a saleable star with some acting ability, directors will automatically seek you out. No amount of hanging out, meeting at parties, chaaplusi or chakri is going to help. I don't believe in cosying up to get work. I am a bit more intelligent than that! What matters is ultimately your performance. Period!
Your friendships (read Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone) have always made news. Your comment?
What upsets me is that I get such news after the whole world gets it. I don't understand why people don't find it important to consult me before writing a report.

I feel I have a right to give my opinion. Some have really upset me. But I don't take them to heart. Now with some good projects in hand, I hope that people start writing about my work as well (sighs)!

There has been buzz about your rivalry with Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and even Imran Khan.
It is not fair to compare me with Shahid, Imran or Ranbir. These guys are senior to me and have done more films than me.

I think this slotting happened because the pundits saw potential in me post Band Bajaa Baaraat. In this industry, every film is important and you are or broken every Friday. Personally, I am not at all competitive by nature.
How is it like working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali?
He's a perfectionist and likes his actors to prepare well before taking on a role. At the same time, he knows where to draw the line in terms of preparedness. It is not easy to please Sanjay Sir as he has a certain sense of expectation.

15 minutes on TV without Anushka Sharma

With Anushka Sharma being on an overdrive on the brand endorsement circuit and her face popping up in every second commercial on the tube, cricketer-turned-commentator Sanjay Manjrekar is certainly amused

He states on his micro-blogging site, A strange thing happened today... went through 15 mins of watching TV & not a single commercial of Anushka Sharma : )
Well, well was Manjrekar missing Anushka or relieved not to spot her. Your guess is as good as ours!

Katrina or Anushka: Who'll sizzle in a white chiffon sari?

Beautiful actresses flaunting chiffon saris have always been synonymous with veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra's projects. But with two leading ladies - Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma - in his new directorial venture, the big question is, who will drape the six-yard wonder?

In the past, the evergreen Rekha adorned a white saree during a scene in Chopra's 1981 film "Silsila", while Sridevi wore it in "Chandni".

A source from the set of Chopra's yet untitled, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer reveals that the filmmaker has not decided as of now as to who will wear the popular attire - Katrina or Anushka.

However, both the ladies, are excited for it. If the buzz is to be believed, Katrina plays Shah Rukh's ladylove, while Anushka's character is more of a tomboy in the film.
"Katrina will be seen wearing a lot of saris in the film. But that doesn't mean that Anushka wouldn't," said a source close to the venture.

"One of them will surely get to wear the white sari. But right now it is undecided," added the source.

The movie, set to release Nov 13, has so far been shot in London, Ladakh and Kashmir.

Katrina, Anushka bury hatchet

Sources claim that Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma have patched-up their rumoured differences on the sets of YRF's untitled film

While some actresses don't think twice before engaging in catfights, some on the other hand know when to call truce. Our sources say that Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif are currently riding the wave of friendship, as opposed to recent rumours of all being not too well between the two.
A while ago, there were rumours that the two had fallen out over sharing the same make-up man. However, a source on the sets of their latest Yash Chopra film says that the two ladies are getting along like a house on fire. The rumours about their fight are absolutely rubbish, states the source.
