We may think that playing a glam diva would come easy for someone like Kareena Kapoor, but this time it’s going to be way tough. The actress will start her homework soon to portray a heroine in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’.
Yes, homework to walk, talk and sit like a true heroine, someone who is rich and famous and with oodles of oomph and style. Unfortunately, though Kareena is exactly like this, she has to seek inspiration from five iconic Hollywood actresses to essay her character. Reportedly the list has names of Ava Gardner, Vivien Leigh, Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe.
But why Madhur wants Kareena to follow these Hollywood actresses; why not beautiful Indian divas like Madhubala or Meena Kumari to prepare for her role? Actually, according to Madhur there is so little footage available about these heroines that he hasn’t found anything ‘interesting’. As per reports, Madhur has made a special documentary on these four Hollywood screen-scorchers to help Kareena do her homework for the film, which she will start as soon as she is free from Ra.One and Golmaal 3. And if you think the movie is going to be a period film, you are wrong; it’s set in contemporary times and Kareena plays a Bollywood superstar.
