Aishwarya Rai-What’s stopping her? Marriage or a not so famous husband?

According to latest news reports Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has turned down some high profile Hollywood projects including her latest offer from Brad Pitt.

The actress has confirmed the piece of news and commented that it was her lack of time which did not allow her to give nod to the Hollywood projects.

The beautiful actress commented that she let go of Brad Pitt-starrer Troy because it had a couple of intimate scenes.

She added that she was not sure about doing them and so she had to turn the film down. Well this is one problem that married actresses in India face.

Even though a very selected few get top notch projects in after marriage, most of them shy away when it comes to intimate scenes because they have a family to whom they are answerable.

If we remember correctly then Aishwarya was very much interested in doing Hollywood films at one point of time. However it seems that these days she had curtailed her ambition partly because she needs to give her family time.

It could also be that no one recognizes Abhishek in Hollywood and Aishwarya has got no ambition of surpassing her husband. Well Ash, you are a global superstar and you would have really made us proud if you had said yes to that lucrative Hollywood film offers.
