Genelia D’souza in the remake of Khakha Khakha

Finally it has been clarified that, Genelia will be playing the lead role for Vipul Shah's Hindi remake of Tamil super hit Khakha Khakha.

She has replaced Asin in opposite to John Abraham for this film. There has been a huge question mark over Asin's replacement. Even Sonam Kapoor or Diana Petty were expected to be in for Asin in this movie.

But finally it was Genelia who will play the lead female character of the Tamil remake. The shooting of this film will be start in this month itself.

One of Genelia's friends has clarified that Genelia had already worked with John in Hook Ya Crook but the film was cancelled after 90% of shooting due to some reason.

As the film is an action movie, Genelia is going to play a critical role. The Bollywood remake is having an important part for the female lead in this movie.

Earlier John has denied to get paired with Asin and then Vipul Shah was looking forward to take Sonam for the film.

Then model Diana Petty was taken in to consideration but finally Genelia has been signed for this role.
