Instead of eat, pray, love, Vidya Balan is indulging in eat, pray and work. In Kolkata, shooting for Sujoy Ghosh’s next film for the next two months, she is having the time of her life. Vidya who started her film career with a Bengali film is happy to be back in Kolkata because this is the only city in India which treats her like a superstar. The Parineeta girl’s popularity in the city is mindboggling and she had throngs of followers dropping by on her sets and inviting her for their neighborhood Durga pooja celebrations. Obviously this kind of adulation is great for the ego and it keeps Vidya in a great mood at all times.
An easy going Vidya was also thrilled to be in her favourite city during Durga Pooja and after pack-up made it a point to pandal-hop and visit every pooja she was invited to. You can never get too much of blessings, but Vidya needs to realise that she needs to go slow with her eating. The girl’s been gorging on Bengali khana and mishti. She better realise it’s all about size zero, not size 100 these days.
