Asin & Salman Khan: 2.5 crore for shaadi song

Constantly known to be a paramount part of the picture, music additions more terrific hugeness when a musical team is at the rudder. Bhushan Kumar, who is Generating it, has spent something greater than Rs 2.5 crore on what he calls, “a complete clan item melody”.

The exec of T Series, under which Kumar is making the picture in affiliation with Rajat Rawail, expresss that so far item tunes have invariably been identified with flawless kids. “This one specialties the whole clan parting about the marriage of the lead elements, took on by Salman bhai and Asin. Kumar goes on to explain that since Ready, a romantic comedy with a few action sequences, is targeted at a family audience, it seemed imperative to have a suitable song. “And since a music company is producing it, the number has to be larger than life,” he says, adding, that the situation in the movie helped them conceptualize the song sequence.

Art director Rajat Podar started working on the extravagant and sprawling set at Film City, Goregaon, last month and it took choreographers Chinni Prakash and Mudassar six days to shoot the song. Apart from the actors and 100 dancers, about 100 more extras were featured to fill up the expansive set.

Interestingly, it took composer Pritam four months to create the music for the song, Peechhe peechhe. “When you hear the song, you will understand why it was so very important to get the tune right,” says Kumar, refusing to reveal more about the lyrics. He reasons, “The punchline is the most important part of the song and it’s too early to give that away now. It’s also going to be an important part of our promotional strategies.”

Currently, the producer is discussing another highlight song sequence of Ready with Bazmee and the team. “We’ll be building another grand set for that too because that’s the second larger than life number of our movie,” he asserts.
