Nandita to direct play

After making short films and a movie, actress Nandita Das is now directing a play that focuses on inequalities in the society.

"At the moment I am working on a play, in which I am going to act, direct as well as write. I am very nervous. It's a conventional couple's story in an urban setup. It's about the inequalities which exist, " Nandita told.

The actress has been active on stage and featured in plays such as "Heads Ya Tails" and "Moteram Ka Satyagrah".

She directed National Award winning feature film "Firaaq".
