Now a legal notice to Sharman Joshi

The producers of his 10-year-old film have filed a petition against the actor for defaming the project

After much noise made from both ends, the producers of Sharman Joshi’s 10-year-old film have now slapped the actor with a legal notice.

Manoj Rastogi and Pramod Sharma have accused the actor of defaming the film, while filing a petition at the Dindoshi court. Sharman had earlier accused the producers of taking advantage of the attention around his latest release Ferrari Ki Sawaari to pull their long-pending project out of the cans.

Speaking to us, Rastogi says, “It’s very unfortunate that Sharman has made such remarks about us and the film. We are the producers and Sharman cannot question us as to why we are releasing the film so late. A long-pending film is not a medicine that comes with an expiry date.

Sharman expressed his insecurity over the project being released now. All I can say is we have done our work, paid him and he should now help us promote the film.”

A source close to Sharman says, “The producers of 3 Bachelors are trying to piggyback on Ferrari to promote their film.” Sharman remained unavailable for comment.
