Richa Chadha knows how to set her priorities right. Especially her professional commitments. For the upcoming Mumbai fashion week, the actress has given a go-ahead to Kolkata-based designer Debarun Mukherjee to be his showstopper.
Because of this commitment, Richa won't be part of her latest film's cast to walk the ramp at the same event to promote their film.
The reason? She was approached by the designer first. And since a showstopper cannot walk the ramp for another designer, she had to pull out of her film's promotional event.
Richa explains, The film is very close to my heart. But I wasn't aware of this fashion event for the film and had already given my word to Debarun.
So it would have been unfair of me to ditch him at the last moment, especially since I am slated to be the showstopper. I feel bad that I can't be a part of my team there on the stage but I can't help it now.
