Sunny Leone to stay in India for a year


Indo-Canadian pornstar-turned-actor Sunny Leone, who made her debut with Bollywood film 'Jism 2', stopped by Kolkata on Tuesday to promote her film.

In every industry, there are people who are going to make you down but most people is liking me than hating me`, she said, adding that the number of people liking her was greater than those who hated her.

B-town actor Dino Morea, the producer of the film also accompanied Leone along with music director Arko Pravo Mukherjee.

Leone on sharing her experiences said, The whole experience was amazing and everyone is accepting me to the home. I have worked very hard, learnt a lot of acting, attended Hindi classes and now learning dancing also.

On asking about whether she want to continue with pornography, she said, Right now I am going to stay in India for a year or more and want to concentrate on Bollywood films so even if I want to do also, I could not.

She has already signed a film to be made by producer Ekta Kapoor.

Morea said, `This is my first production and that also with a big brand and Puja Bhatt, so it enhances my brand too.

I do not want to direct a film but I am going to do more acting in coming years and want a come back with a bang,` he added.

The music of the film is already a hit and on this occasion Mukherjee said, Jism 2 is my musical debut in Bollywood. I am more into soulful music and I have a weakness with sufi songs but I have made the songs according to the demand as the whole movie was hot and bold.

Jism 2 is a erotic thriller film directed by Pooja Bhatt, features pornographic actor Sunny Leone, actor Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh.

Though the film was not praised by critics and received negative reviews but still it is doing a good business in India, touching 21 crore in the opening week across India and 1.2 crore across West Bengal.

The overall impact of the movie was poor. In between it was going so slow, sometimes you wondered when it will end. On performance, only Hooda did resonable job. Sorry to say Sunny does not have acting skills. Most of time she was only breathing deeply. Singh was also poor.
