Director Susi Ganesh is looking for an item girl to star opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh in his upcoming film. Here's our pick. . .
These days, no film seems to be complete without an item number. While some filmmakers search the across globe to zero upon the perfect item girl, some resort to innovative ways to hunt for the girl with the best bod and dance moves. Filmmaker Susi Ganesh is on the lookout for his tem girl, someone who can fit the bill opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh.
Susi, who is remaking his hit Tamil film Thiruttu Payale, wants an appealing actress to grove with Neil on the track. In the Tamil version, the director used a belly dancer for the item song but in the Hindi version created by Himesh Reshammiya, he wants someone from Bollywood.
Is he looking for someone like Katrina Kaif who is a rage in this genre? The South filmmaker laughs off the question. Who wouldn't want her? Though our film is a big budget one, I guess Katrina doesn't fit the bill for us. I'd even go for a fresh face, yes, but she must have a desi dancer touch to her personality. I've got a month's timeframe to find and wrap up the shoot! smiles Susi.
Lisa Haydon
Why: Because one of the few memorable parts of Agent Vinod involved her adding the oomph factor in the two item songs she featured in.
Gauahar Khan
Why: Because of Hua chokra jawaan re! Well, that's just one of the many reasons her act as Chand Bibi in Ishaqzaade got accentuated by that item number. Also, she is naturally sexy and her moves are effortlessly graceful.
Mumaith Khan
Why: Because she is the ultimate item girl. With a career that ranges across songs in not only Hindi but also Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films, Mumaith has maintained her Munnabhai magic alive over the years.
Shakti Mohan
Why: Because she is an awesome dancer. And whoever has followed her progress through a reality dance show which she won to her recent act in Rowdy Rathore's Aa Re Pritam Pyaare where she held her own amongst Mumaith Khan and Maryam Zakaria would second that.

If not, Susi can always rely on the league of extraordinary item girls like Malaika Arora Khan, Rakhi Sawant, Sameera Reddy, Yana Gupta and so on.
