Saif-Kareena a lovable couple: Priyanka

Actress Priyanka Chopra says she is looking forward to the wedding of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena as they make a "wonderful couple"

Earlier, things were not smooth between Priyanka and Kareena and problems had cropped up between the two when they were working on 'Aitraaz'. Later, on 'Koffee With Karan' show Kareena made fun of Priyanka's accent.

Priyanka retaliated saying she got her accent from where her (Kareena's) boyfriend Saif Ali Khan got his. But now the two seem to have buried the hatchet as Priyanka says she is looking forward to the marriage of Saif and Kareena.

"It is a beautiful thing that she is getting married. I feel it is the most beautiful beginning of a new journey. To me Saif and Kareena make a wonderful lovable couple. I am looking forward to their marriage," Priyanka told reporters here last night.
Even as Saif and Kareena have maintained silence on their much awaited wedding, Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore had recently said that it will take place in October.

Meanwhile, having been linked with actors Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and now with Salman Khan, Priyanka, on her marriage plans says, "Since the age of four I have been waiting to get married. I am ready for it. My mom, dad are also ready but the only problem is I am not getting a good guy."

"I am waiting for my Mr Right. So that is a technical problem. The moment I find a guy, I will get married," she added.

We fans were under the impression that Kareena is an independent and self respecting person. One cannot understand the compulsion under which she has decided to give up her individuality and religion to convert to another faith just because she is marrying a Half Hindu Half Muslim. Shows the shallowness of her faith in her own religion and her upbringing. Maybe it is also the influence of the Bollywood culture which does not have any particular leanings towards any religion.
