Chetan Bhagat to write Salman Khan's Kick

Surender Reddy's Kick (2009) (Telugu) is definitely one of the strongest film with the potential to shatter the Hindi Box Office records. Packing immense comedy, action and message, it is one script that has all the 'Bollywood' masala.

Everyone in the Bollywood is aware Salman Khan and director Sajid Nadiawala (of Housefull and Housefull 2 fame) have been very serious about remaking the Ravi Teja-starrer to a higher level. The latest to join this 'Kick' bandwagon is author Chetan Bhagat. Chetan is all set to write the screenplay of this film that shattered all the Box Office records in all three languages Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.

"Happy to share with you that I'll be writing the screenplay of 'Kick' starring Salman Khan and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. Have known both Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala for a while and been wanting to work with them.

Couldn't have asked for a better screenplay debut. Will be adapting Kick from original Telugu superhit, with fair amount of changes as well. Huge expectations, need all ur support! Thanks!" Chetan tweeted on Twitter.

Going by the original, The film is a story about a decent Robber (Salman Khan) from a decent family. He robs bad people and this gives him a 'Kick'. There were also reports in media about Suneil Shetty playing the cop's role in the movie who will do anything to nab this Robber.
