Double-meaning dialogues? No way, says Johnny Lever

Johnny Lever, one of the most sought after comedian in the 1990s, does not accept the current trend of double-meaning dialogues.

"Many people are promoting it, they want to listen to double-meaning dialogues. Those who like, can see it; those who don't want to, don't. TV is in your control, watch a film if you wish to. But there is no solution, " the 62-year-old said here Monday at the Joint Comprehensive Sound Seminar that focused on sound technology in films.

"I come from a school where we do not believe in double meaning. We work in single meaning and use our talent instead of relying on double meaning dialogues. This is how it should be, " he added.

Johnny was last seen in "Housefull 2" and "Chaar Din Ki Chandni."
