On the way to LA for a charity event the actress was supposed to fly into New York City from London before covering the final lap of her final destination.
And now I'm here in London. I was on the way to NYC en route to LA. Now with the storm in NY I am stuck in London, grumbled Sushmita goodnaturedly from London on Wednesday afternoon.
'Stuck', perhaps is not the right word. Because Sushmita decided to make the best of the time in London, catching up with a couple of old friends whom she hadn't met for a while.
Though she's tightlipped about the purpose of her visit to LA, we've come to know Sushmita was flying in to attend a fundraiser for an organization named Pratham. From Los Angeles, Sushmita is to fly into San Francisco for another fundraiser for a charity called Home Of Hope.
She flew out alone this time without her two daughters, as they are not allowed to miss school under any circumstance.
