A Hit? Khiladi 786 has garnered Rs 50 crore in the first week

Though the weekend proved a high point, the real challenge for a film is to make the counter ring on Mondays and Tuesdays. 

And Khiladi 786 thanks to strong word of mouth has remained super steady throughout the week and the comedy has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in the first seven days, he adds. 
With no opposition, whatsoever from any other big banner film, for the next seven days and satellite rights, overseas rights, music rights and video rights in place, the makers feel confident that it will end up doing impressive business worldwide. 

After Bodyguard, Bol Bachchan, Son of Sardaar and OMG! Oh My God, Khiladi 786 will mark Himesh Reshammiya's fifth hit film in a row with chartbuster music. On the single screen front, the film has done record- breaking business with people whistling and dancing on every song.
