Kareena Kapoor's much-anticipated film 'Heroine' couldn't create much magic at the silver screen. Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Heroine' hit the headlines for its controversies but the film could not strike the right chord with the fans after its release. The film was written off by many calling it a rip off of Madhur Bhandarkar's other films.

Kunal Kohli's love saga that cuts across three eras did not make the audience happy. Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra failed to create the 'Kaminey' chemistry in 'Teri Meri Kahaani'. The film's collections were quite low at the box office.
Action thriller 'Players' turned out to be the first flop of the year. Despite a big star cast, the film was unable to create any fireworks at the box office. The film was an official remake of Hollywood blockbuster 'Italian Job'.
Bipasha Basu's 'Jodi Breakers' was yet another flop at the box office. Bipasha and R Madhavan were for the first time being paired opposite each other. The film also had Helen playing an important role.
