Life goes on for Yash Chopra's widow, Pamela

Late Yash Chopra's widow Pamela attends puja at the family's studio for the first time after filmmaker's death in October

In the film industry they say, the show must go on. And staying true to the spirit, Pamela Chopra, the late Yash Chopra's widow attended a puja on the premises of her family's production house to signal the beginning of the company's next project.

On Tuesday morning, Pam, as she is fondly called, was spotted attending the traditional ceremony at the Yash Raj Films studio. The puja marked the start of director Abbas Ali Zafar's new film.

The star cast of the film including Arjun Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Sushant Singh were present. Only Ranveer Singh was missing, as the actor has been shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next.

A source from the studio says, It has been a custom for Yashji and Pam to attend the mahurat of every film before it starts. It was an emotional moment for her to attend the puja without her husband by her side for the first time.

The shooting of the film commences in Mumbai and will then proceed to Kolkata. Chopra had passed away in October after suffering from dengue.
