Shahid Kapoor had fun doing mawali dance

He is a fantastic dancer. He loves to dance. In `Rambo Rajkumar` he will be seen dancing with gay abandon.

The actor, who is shooting with Sonakshi Sinha for the Prabhudheva's directorial venture, is pretty excited about the song.

Shahid visited Sholay shooting location

Actor Shahid Kapoor did not miss out on the chance to visit Ramgarh in Karnataka, where cult film "Sholay" was shot.

The 31-year-old was in Mysore to shoot his upcoming project "Phata Poster Nikla Hero" when he got to know that the famous shooting location is nearby.

The actor took time off after the shooting and visited the spot. He managed to wrap up the trip in eight hours time.

Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, "Phata Poster Nikla Hero" also stars Ileana D'Cruz.

Saif-Shahid connection, no it's not just Kareena

In Bollywood, they say there are no permanent friends or foes. And looks like so is the case between Saif Ali Khan and choreographer Ahmed Khan. After working on one of Saif's most popular tracks Ole Ole, the actor and the choreographer are all set to come together again after eight years, in Abbas-Mustan's next.

Salaam Namaste was the last film the two worked together in. Rumour has it that Ahmed's friendship with Shahid Kapoor had a profound impact on the choreographer's working relationship with Saif. 

A source says, It is a known fact that Ahmed and Shahid are best friends. Whereas, Ahmed used to teach dance to Saif when he entered the industry. However after Saif and Kareena started dating, they never worked together again.
Ahmed states, There were unspoken differences. But after Rameshji (Taurani) and Abbas-Mustanji told Saif that they wanted me for their film, he was happy. The first day when I landed in Turkey, Saif called me to his room and we hugged. Everything was fine again. Saif and I were part of the same team earlier and now all's well once more.

Interior decorator Shahid visits brother Ishaan at Shiamak Davar's institute

Shiamak Davar's students were in for a starry surprise when ex-student Shahid Kapoor paid a visit

The actor came to drop his younger brother Ishaan who is Shiamak's student which Sasha was years back. Shahid also grooved with them as the students are preparing for a show in which his brother is also performing.

Turns interior decorator

Shahid Kapoor has decided to use his interior decoration skills to do up his house rather than employing a professional for it.

The 31-year-old wanted to remodel his house, and he chose to bring home some interior design magazines and decide on the colour scheme himself.

Shahid, along with a team of workers, painted all walls white and chose to keep the floor and furniture black.

"Everything in his house has been designed by Shahid himself, " the actor's spokesperson said in a statement.

He also made sure the house gets good ventilation and ample amount of seating area by the window.

Shahid also made a den for himself where he has a comfortable bed and an interesting collection of films across all genres. He feels the best way to invest in his craft as an actor is by watching and learning from work across boundaries.

Shahid was last seen in 2011 release Mausam and will soon be seen in Rajkumar Santoshi's Phata Poster Nikla Hero, which also features actress Ileana D'cruz.

Shahid's career finished. Can Salman's way save him?

Shahid Kapoor lost Maneesh Sharma's next project after working on the script with the director for six months. It was a disappointing deadend. The final blow came suddenly. The remake of the Tom Cruise starrer Knight & Day which director Siddharth Anand had planned almost to culmination with Shahid Kapoor has now gone to Hrithik Roshan. 

And Shahid whose fan base remains miraculously uneroded despite the recent setbacks, has decided to do some drastic career-rethink. 

We hear from reliable sources that the young dedicated actor would now be following Salman Khan's pattern of career management and has in fact signed up with Salman's agency Bling to ensure his career is back on track. 
In the coming months, Shahid Kapoor won't be seen in public much. The actor whose recent films Mausam, Teri Meri Kahani have underperformed, has decided to take a long hard look at his career. And the results are already showing.

Not only is Shahid missing from public appearances he has lately signed up with Bling, the company that looks after the business interests of Salman Khan, to give that critical boost to his career. 

In addition, Shahid has also decided to adopt an entirely new approach to new projects. 

Says a source close to Shahid, `During the last one year Shahid has turned down 15 projects, among them Mira Nair's The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Prakash Jha's Chakravyuha. He insisted on a complete hard-bound script from every filmmaker, big or small.
This naturally didn't go down well with the likes of Jha and Nair who have worked with the biggest names in Bollywood and abroad, without having to commit a full hard-bound script to the actor. 

Only Aamir Khan used to demand a hard-bound script and he would even insist on signing every page of the script so that nothing was changed. That rigid system of working no longer works for any actor, not even Aamir.

The buzz surrounding Shahid's revamp is that the actor has decided to follow Salman's career-mould rather than Aamir's. 

We hear Shahid would be a lot more flexible and relaxed in his approach to films and roles. 

Raj Kumar Santoshi's new film Phata Poster Nikla Hero is the first film Shahid has signed without demanding a full script. He next goes into Prabhu Deva's Namak where he needs to completely re-define his physique and body language to do his his full-fledged action role.
Shahid would phase out his public appearances and will be seen very selectively until Santoshi's and Prabhu Deva's films are ready. Until then he has decided to stay as much out of the limelight as possible.
