Shed baby weight when you feel like: Sonali Bendre

Actress Sonali Bendre, who is among Bollywood's yummy mummies, says there should not be any hoopla around the post-pregnancy weight of celebrity mothers.

In recent times, actresses like Aishwarya Rai, Lara Dutta and Shilpa Shetty, have found themselves under the scanner for putting on a few kilos after their respective deliveries. But Sonali, who has a son Ranveer, 7, says it's okay to take your own sweet time to shed it all.

"You have to shed it when you feel like shedding it. It's your body. If I am comfortable with my weight, then who is anybody to say anything about it, " Sonali told.

The 37-year-old, who is married to filmmaker Goldie Behl, says her life changed after she became a mother.

"It's lovely to be married to your best friend. I think life changed after we had a child. If we have ever felt that we are married, it is after the child.

"It's a mental thing because suddenly you are responsible for this life and its a huge responsibility. No matter how much you hear it, it is very difficult when you experience it, " Sonali said.

The actress was last seen in 2001 film "Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega". She says she fails to understand the size-zero figure phenomenon in the film industry.

"I don't understand size-zero. I have always been the way I have been. Every body type is beautiful in it's own way. I think the main thing is what kind of a person you are from inside. How beautifully you talk and present yourself... that is what matters. The personality matters, " she said.

Talking about her eating habits, the fit and fabulous 37-year-old said: "I am a very healthy eater. I have a great metabolism. I have great genes and I would thank my parents for that."

Sonali will soon be seen in the sequel of the 2010 film "Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai". She is in a role opposite Akshay Kumar.

The movie also features actors Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2 is my last film: Sonali

"Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2" may be Sonali Bendre's last film, if she has her way.

The actress is making her comeback with the Ekta Kapoor production.

She says that the Balaji Telefilms team is like family to her and that's the reason she agreed to do the movie.

"It's Balaji's film, which is Ekta (Kapoor) and Shobha (Kapoor) aunty and they are like family. So Shobha aunty spoke to my mother-in- law and said I want your daughter-in-law to do this and it was a very nice role and I did agree," Sonali said.

"Once Upon..." is being directed by Milan Luthria, who has chalked out a special role for Sonali.

The 37-year-old was last seen in a guest appearance in 2003 hit "Kal Ho Naa Ho".

Sonali was at IIJW to walk the ramp for jewellery designer Anand Shah. She was a successful model before her acting career took off, but Sonali says she is petrified of walking the ramp.

"(I was) Very nervous because I am not used to walking the ramp (anymore). I have been seeing his (Anand Shah) designs. Unfortunately, I couldn't walk for him earlier," Sonali said.

Does Sonali Bendre love to flaunt her panty?

The latest babe in the B-Town to get snapped during a wardrobe malfunction is none other than Sonali Bendre. She arrived at the launch of the store “The Charcoal Project” of Sussane Roshan, with her hubby Goldie Behl. The almost forgotten actress Sonali Bendre has got all eyes on her, and managed to grab eyeballs by this act. She was never a very successful actress, but somehow her pretty looks and infectious smile made directors and producers to offer her movies. Currently she was not so happening and this will surely bring her into the lime light once again.

This is not the first time celebrities grabbed news with such wardrobe malfunction. Yana Gupta, Freida Pinto, Neetu Chandra have been clicked in embarrassing moments. This is the cheapest way of getting publicity. The female celebs must be more cautious to avoid these kind of fashion faux pas.
