It’s common knowledge that Katrina Kaif is not too comfortable with Hindi, and prefers to speak in English at all public events so as to avoid anything being lost in translation. So imagine everyone’s surprise at the recent Zee Rishtey Awards when Kaif greeted the crowds in Marathi, with a robust.

Kasa Kai Savita Tai? (How are you, Savita Aunty?). The crowd responded with loud cheers and whistles while the camera zoomed in on a stunned Usha Nadkarni, who plays the character of Savita Tai in the popular show Pavitra Rishta. Host Manish Paul didn’t miss a beat when he said, “Aree waah Katrina, aap Hindi se pehle Marathi seekh gayi?” (Wow Katrina, you’ve learnt Marathi before learning to speak Hindi?)

Kareena Kapoor: Shahid engages in enormous intercourse bid

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor is one gal who doesn’t delay to call a spade a spade. Well, the gal who has had a terrific innings in the picture industry has in addition had some connections with her co stars that have ended up being imbibed into the nature of her fans.

Kangana ranaut & Sanjay Dutt in Koffee with Karan

In what can easily be deemed the funniest Koffee with Karan episode, Anil Kapoor came out to claim that Sanjay Dutt is in fact his senior. The duo joined Karan Johar on the couch as they spoke all things movies and No Problem, their movie that released this past Friday. The buddies, who didn't work together for the first time until much later in Musafir, bared their souls as they spoke about being fathers, acting and working in the industry. Anil Kapoor explained his picky choosy nature while Sanjay Dutt spoke about his bindaas attitude to life and films. Anil said he found having a daughter in the industry "great but stressful" referring to Sonam Kapoor of course. New Dad Sanjay, spoke at length about being a father all over again and his relationship with strayed daughter Trishala.

Joining them was Kangna Ranaut who came on midway and was advised by Sanjay Dutt to wear more traditional wear as opposed to the designer gown she adorned. She too spoke volumes about her past relationships, married men, plastic surgery – which she flat out denied and flirting! In fact, she went on to reveal that she has tried "talking" to Akshaye Khanna, her co-star in No Problem, several times and was ignored. "He doesn’t talk!" she exclaimed. However, she did say that her new best friend in the industry was Sushmita Sen with whom she shares a warm relationship. Anil Kapoor went on to add that he simply loved Sen’s "morning hugs" while Sanju added that Sen still manages to out speak him.

All talk turned to the common factor: Madhuri Dixit. Favorite co-star Anil Kapoor said he didn’t like to hear anything negative about her while alleged ex-flame Sanjay Dutt said she should head home to the kids instead of working in films and on television. It was the latter that won the Rapid Fire round despite Anil’s honest and witty answers.

In other news, No Problem has been deemed a complete washout. So disappointed were the star of the films that they all refused to attend the pre-planned Success Bash. Instead, they all claimed they were busy with other plans. In turn, the party was cancelled. Next week, Karan will chat with on and off lovers Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

Priyanka Chopra in Krrish sequel

Bollywood is at present under the spell of sequels and trilogies. The present fad of motion picture making in the Hindi picture industry will reveal that just about each picture which was trendy at the crate office is once again being carried over as a sequel for the gathering. The Roshan tribe therefore too is not set up to be alternate behind in the race. Following tasting astringent failure with their prior release Kites, the father – son couple of Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan can be over on the Bollywood screen with a sequel to their 2006 release Krrish.

According to reports circulating in the media, apart from Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra has also been roped to reprise her role of the journalist in the sequel to the 2006 super hit film. Contrary to earlier reports where it was said that leggy lass Piggy Chops will not be a part of the upcoming movie because of her supposed fallout with the Roshans', a source close to the Roshan family has said in a statement to the media that Priyanka Chopra was the first and only choice for the sequel to Krrish.

The plot of the sequel has not been revealed as of yet, but reports suggest that the sequel will begin from where the prequel saw its end. Therefore we can expect that while Hrithik Roshan as Krrish will still be the superhero, Priyanka Chopra will be his journalist girlfriend. Rakesh Roshan however will have to search for a new negative character for his upcoming project.

Shahrukh Khan is The King of Vulgarity

Performer Neha Dhupia rightly expressed that just Shahrukh Khan and sex pushes in Bollywood. Tickets for the Shahrukh's demonstrate in Dhaka were sold out like sweltering cakes and a 30000 unyielding swarm thronged the Dhaka's Army Stadium on December 10 to view their star perform live. Anyhow a Bangladeshi newspaper called King Khan as ‘The King of vulgarity'.

Weekly Blitz, a leading local newspaper, came down heavily on Shahrukh’s show, which also featured actors like Arjun Rampal, Rani Mukherjee, Eesha Koppikhar and Dia Mirza. It alleged that Shahrukh did things that hurt the sentiments of the Bangladeshis.

The newspapers slammed Shahrukh for smoking in public and alleged that he did it intentionally to drive a point that he doesn’t care the Bangladeshi authorities. It questioned why the actor was allowed to use the VVIP terminal at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka while he doesn’t enjoy such privilege even in his own country.

Shahrukh also received flaks for uttering Bangla slang on the stage. He also spoke in Hindi and English at the show. The newspaper also alleged that the Russian dance troupe that accompanied him, indulged in illicit activities with the locals.

Sonakshi Sinha and her much discussed reservations on the silver screen

Given the 'image' of Sonakshi Sinha and her much talked about reservations on the silver screen, sensuality is one word that you would not like to associate with her... better still... would not dare to associate with her. But, the current issue of maxim has just done that.
