Is SRK trying to get too close to Katrina?

Katrina Kaif might be one of the prime reasons leading to the big battle between the big Khans Shah Rukh and Salman.

The fight happened on her birthday and as per rumour-mills it also had something to do with Katrina Kaif.

Katrina also had to bear the brunt, as soon after, Shah Rukh dropped her from his world tour of Temptations Reloaded last year.

However things are not the same anymore. While SRK and Sallu continue to remain arch rivals, Shah Rukh has warmed up to Salman’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif off lately.

The aisle to sit with SRK and get into an animated chat. And Shah boy, gentleman that he is, got up and gave his seat to the lady. All the while chatting away. Mainly about his experiences in the USA and UK. And the only time Katz went back to her seat was when the plane was to land in Mumbai.

On landing in Mumbai, Shah Rukh was aware that huge media traffic was waiting for him outside the airport and suspected that could create problems for Katrina. So SRK sent his bodyguard to safely escort Katrina. For quite some time, Yash Raj Films have been trying to pair Katrina Kaif opposite Shah Rukh Khan for a love story. While there is no official confirmation on the same, rumours claims that the banner has been successful in their dream casting.

More recently Karan Johar quoted in an interview to a news channel that Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are the most romantic actors in Bollywood. When asked if he would want to cast the duo for his next film, KJo didn’t rule out the possibility.

Also Salman went on record to state that he had absolutely no objection to Katrina working with Shah Rukh Khan. It’s not just the Chopras or Johars who are keen to cast the two together. Perhaps Shah Rukh himself feels the two might click as a screen couple amazingly.

As per industry insiders, though Shah Rukh Khan has not finalized the cast of his next ambitious production Ra.1 , he is considering Katrina Kaif to play the female lead. While only time will tell if Shah Rukh and Katrina come together, what’s to be seen is that will their association also reunite friends-turned-foes Shah Rukh and Salman.
