Amrita Rao reschedules to do a cameo for Milap Zaveri's next

Amrita Rao, who made last minute changes in her schedule to do a cameo in her friend Milap Zaveri’s forthcoming.

Jaane Kahaan Se Aayi Hai, has been presented with a custom-made gift by the director for going out of her way to help the movie.

A source close to the development says, “Floored by Amrita Rao’s dedication and professional attitude.

Milap Zaveri made a sweet gesture by gifting her custom-made jewellery that Amrita wore during the shooting of the guest appearance.

In fact Amrita looked into the final styling and edit as she didn’t want anything.

To go haywire for her good friend as she is quite a stickler herself.” Amrita confirms, “It has been a pleasure working with Milap.

I have been part of his writing debut and now I’m part of his directorial debut. We know each other since Masti days.

Meanwhile, sources claim producer Nikhil Advani and Milap took almost 6 months to convince Amrita to do the special appearance.

“Milap who has worked with Amrita previously was quite keen to have her participate in this movie in some way as he considers her to be part of his filmy family.

Apparently Amrita was offered a meatier role but due to other film commitments she couldn’t allot time.

But she readily agreed to do a special appearance without charging a penny,” adds the informer. The source adds, “Amrita shot non-stop for 24 hours for Milap and the movie’s lead star Jacqueline Fernandes gave her company till her shot was over. In fact Amrita and Jacqueline, who got to know each other for the very first time, bonded over cutting chai and bun maska at a local Irani restauraunt too.”
