Post her shaadi, actress Lara Dutta seems to be on her way to increasingly becoming a perfectionist. A source close to the actress says that Dutta had looked after almost every detail for the music launch of her upcoming film. Says the source,"We don't know if it has anything to do with marriage per se, but we've all observed that Dutta has become a perfectionist of late. She wants to be kept in the loop and she thinks a lot before giving the go ahead for anything. She's become a strategist of sorts." And another source tells us that the team of her upcoming film witnessed a similar side of the actor during the filming of a shot.
Apparently, a scene required Dutta to wear a jacket and the actor made it a point to source one all the way from London! "She was emphasizing on the importance of authenticity. And since this was Dutta's maiden production venture, nothing could stop her from going that extra mile, or spending that extra buck.
Dutta initially looked for a jacket that would blend with her character and the scene (in local stores). She even called her fashion conscious friends to see if they had a suitable jacket. But then she logged on to the internet and stumbled upon the one she was looking for. It was only later that she learnt that the jacket had to be called in from the UK," says the source explaining the chain of events.
The jacket apparently brought a smile to the actress's face and she was on cloud nine when she saw the final shot. Well, there are some added advantages of being the producer of your own film, right?
