Jeetendra movies that Tusshar Kapoor would love to be part of

It's the season of remakes in Bollywood! And one more to join this merriment is Jeetendra and Sridevi's iconic film with Ajay Devgn playing the lead in the remake.

While there has been a lot of hype about the film, Tusshar Kapoor tells B-S about five of his dad's films, that he would like to be part of if they were remade:

Geet Gaya Pattharon Ne
Geet Gaya Pattharon Ne was my dad's debut film. Artistic in nature, this film is a cult classic in itself. Moreover, the film has been directed by the legend of Indian cinema V Shantaram. The storyline and the cinematography by Krishnarao Vashirda are just fantastic. In fact, the film won the Filmfare award for its cinematography that year.

Farz
Farz is definitely second on the list. According to me, Farz is the first bond film ever that was done in India. It is full-on masala entertainment along with fight sequences that match Hollywood standards. Also, all the songs from the film are peppy and a treat for the ears as well.

Caravan
Talking about my dad's films and not mentioning Caravan is a crime. The film was not only a huge success, but also a film that matches my sensibilities. Directed by the great Nasir Hussain, this film is a great mixture of comedy and thriller. Not to forget the songs in the film; they are a rage even today. Pancham Da's music just gave an edge to the film.

Parichay
Parichay, one of the most important films in my dad's career, actually changed the way the industry saw dad. From an image makeover to the character he played, this was my dad's first serious role. It was based on a Bengali novel, Rangeen Uttarain. I would definitely want to be a part of this one.

Khudgarz
Last but not the least is Khudgarz. This was a slick film. It started the trend of heart-warming films that were not too serious. A well-directed one, the film was easy to watch and light-hearted too. Hence, it became a huge success.
