Ekta and I make a strong brother-sister jodi

On the Hindu festival of Raksha Bandhan Tuesday, actor Tusshar Kapoor says he makes a strong brother-sister pair with his elder sibling Ekta, a successful producer of films and TV shows.

"It's been 36 years that I am getting a rakhi tied by Ekta. Every year we do the same thing. Since our childhood, even if we are not together on Raksha Bandhan, we celebrate the festival. She sends a rakhi to me wherever I am, and we talk over the phone," the actor told reporters here.

"I think our brother-sister jodi in the industry is very strong," he added.

Ekta and Tusshar are children of veteran actor Jeetendra and producer Shobha Kapoor. Ekta has produced films like "Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai", "Kyaa Kool Hai Hum", "Shor In The City" and "The Dirty Picture", which starred her younger brother.

Tusshar's amusing experiences while dubbing for Shootout At Wadala

To get his dubbing spot on, Tusshar Kapoor was recently made to undergo some intense physical grind by his director

Marlon Brando stuffed toilet papers in his mouth to sound like the intimidating mafia head in Godfather. Thankfully, Tusshar Kapoor didn't have to go to that extent but the actor had some amusing experiences while dubbing for Sanjay Gupta's upcoming gangster drama.

On the day of dubbing for the film that explores the city's underworld, Tusshar was in for a surprise. Sanjay apparently wanted the dubbing to be like the pilot shoot itself.

In a particular scene of the movie, the actor is doing push-ups and arguing at the same time. Accordingly, while dubbing for the same was being carried out, he was made to do push-ups while mouthing the dialogues!

A source from the studio says, Interestingly, Tusshar wasn't even aware of what he was going to do because he thought the voice will match without much effort. In the end, he did exactly the same thing that he did in the film to get that different feel in his voice.

Tusshar tells us. I found it very funny in the beginning to actually be doing the same things that I did while shooting that high-octane sequences. I was also made to gulp down bread slices to bring out the desired sound effect.

Tusshar Kapoor's unique way to stay awake

Actor played Bollywood word games with the cast and crew till late night on the sets of his upcoming gangster film to remain awake

On the sets of his upcoming film with Sanjay Gupta, Tusshar Kapoor came up with an ingenious way to overcome his lack of sleep.

As the entire cast and crew were shooting from midnight to early morning, everyone was looking for a way out from falling asleep on their jobs! A source, who was present on the sets, says, Normally the first shot would take place around midnight and then go on till 6 am. It was natural that we felt very sleepy.

It was then that Tusshar came up with the idea of playing word games. And apparently the games got so interesting that several members would keep on playing despite being required to go to the sets.

It was a good stress buster for all of us and later, even Sanjay and fight director Tinnu Verma could not resist playing it, adds our source. The source also adds that it was Gupta who mostly ended up winning all the rounds.

Tusshar says, The game constituted of mostly names of films and Sanjay knew almost every title! It was a bit childish to indulge in the game but it did the job of keeping everyone up.

Tusshar does action scenes on top of a goods train

Tusshar Kapoor shot for some complicated action stunts for his next film Shootout at Wadala

Ever since his gruesome injury on the sets of Sanjay Gupta's upcoming gangster film, Tusshar Kapoor had shied away from doing complicated action stunts.

However, sources say that the actor has now done another stunt for the film that required him to jump from one moving train compartment to another.

Our source present at the scene says, It was a jail escape scene where John Abraham and Tusshar Kapoor are being chased. The sequence was shot around a week back at Neera (Near Pune) on top of a goods train. John had earlier done similar sequences for Force.

But for Tusshar, it was for the first time that he had tried something like this. He managed to do it convincingly.

Tusshar tells us, It was a nice experience getting on top of a moving train and jumping from one bogey to another. I would have never done it but for Sanjay and action director Tinu Verma's assurances.

Action is challenging: Tusshar Kapoor

Actor Tusshar Kapoor, who has mostly dabbled in comedy films, including the popular "Golmaal" series, believes that a shift to action with "Shootout at Wadala" is a big challenge for him.

"I have not done too much action, so 'Shootout At Wadala' will be another big challenge for me and it will be interesting for me to see how the audiences accept me in that role, " the 36-year-old said here in an interview.

Tusshar is known for playing a mute character in the "Golmaal" series. But he considers an action-based role to be tougher.

"More than playing a mute character, I think doing an out-and-out action-oriented role is a bigger change from what I have done, and a shocker for the audiences, " he added.

However, Tusshar is open to diverse roles and something even akin to "Barfi!".

"It depends on the kind of offers that I get. Let's see, I can't predict the future, so I hope I get challenging roles like 'Golmaal', like 'Barfi!' and get to play such diverse characters, " Tusshar said.

Being directed by Sanjay Gupta, "Shootout at Wadala" is slated to release in May 2013.

Jeetendra movies that Tusshar Kapoor would love to be part of

It's the season of remakes in Bollywood! And one more to join this merriment is Jeetendra and Sridevi's iconic film with Ajay Devgn playing the lead in the remake.

While there has been a lot of hype about the film, Tusshar Kapoor tells B-S about five of his dad's films, that he would like to be part of if they were remade:

Geet Gaya Pattharon Ne
Geet Gaya Pattharon Ne was my dad's debut film. Artistic in nature, this film is a cult classic in itself. Moreover, the film has been directed by the legend of Indian cinema V Shantaram. The storyline and the cinematography by Krishnarao Vashirda are just fantastic. In fact, the film won the Filmfare award for its cinematography that year.

Farz
Farz is definitely second on the list. According to me, Farz is the first bond film ever that was done in India. It is full-on masala entertainment along with fight sequences that match Hollywood standards. Also, all the songs from the film are peppy and a treat for the ears as well.

Caravan
Talking about my dad's films and not mentioning Caravan is a crime. The film was not only a huge success, but also a film that matches my sensibilities. Directed by the great Nasir Hussain, this film is a great mixture of comedy and thriller. Not to forget the songs in the film; they are a rage even today. Pancham Da's music just gave an edge to the film.

Parichay
Parichay, one of the most important films in my dad's career, actually changed the way the industry saw dad. From an image makeover to the character he played, this was my dad's first serious role. It was based on a Bengali novel, Rangeen Uttarain. I would definitely want to be a part of this one.

Khudgarz
Last but not the least is Khudgarz. This was a slick film. It started the trend of heart-warming films that were not too serious. A well-directed one, the film was easy to watch and light-hearted too. Hence, it became a huge success.

Tusshar upset with Sridevi?

Actor Tusshar Kapoor, who was reportedly upset with actress Sridevi for her remarks on the remake of his father, Jeetendra's 1983 film "Himmatwala", says his reaction was misunderstood.

"Sometimes misunderstandings happen, but that's not what I meant. I only showed possessiveness over the film, I liked her a lot in it. I am no one to be upset with somebody who is so senior, so popular, such a big legend," the 36-year-old said here.

"Himmatwala" also starred Sridevi in it, and is now being remade by Sajid Khan, with Ajay Devgn and southern actress Tamannah in lead roles.
Asked about the remake, Sridevi had commented that the film was no "Mughal-e-Azam", a comment that reportedly left Tusshar miffed. In response to Sridevi's comment, he had said that it is not good to run down a film that gave her a standing in the industry.

But now Tusshar says all's well.

Meanwhile, Sridevi is gearing up for her big screen comeback with "English Vinglish".

Tusshar searches through 12 stores to find perfect bag for sister Ekta

They say Ekta Kapoor is obsessed with the black pair of slippers she flaunts at each and every event she attends

But we tell you that the lady is equally attached to her bags. So mush so that bro Tusshar had to search through 12 stores in Dubai to find that 'perfect' bag for sister dear!

The actor says, I take suggestions from my girl friends whenever I shop for Ekta. This time it was a yellow bag. I did not want to buy a brand that has been done to death. Finally, I found what I was looking for.

We ask Tusshar if Ekta's current favourite colour is yellow. She is known to be extremely superstitious and apparently even consults astrologers before making big decisions in her life. Tusshar states, Yellow is so popular these days. Ekta liked the bag but I haven't seen her carrying it yet.

Tusshar was accompanied by his gym buddies on this trip to Dubai. The actor says, I needed a break as I had not been on a vacation since the past two years. We ate, shopped and made the most of the time we had. We also visited a few restaurants that have opened shop recently. Looks like this guy had a lot of fun.

I love dancing

We might have seen Tusshar Kapoor mostly doing comedy films but the actor has a strong desire to do a musical as well.

He tells B-S, I love singing and dancing. If I got an opportunity I would love to do a film with heavy duty dance sequences. I am not averse to traning hard for dances. In fact, contemporary is my favourite style.

It looks lyrical and needs high level of fitness. I wouldn't mind training or rehearsing for two- three months if required.

Considering that Tusshar's dad Jeetendra was known for his jhatka matkas, it's not shocking to see his son wanting to follow his footsteps!

Police complaint filed against Kya Super Kool Hain Hum

A complaint was Wednesday registered against producer, director and actors of Hindi film "Kya Super Kool Hain Hum" for hurting religious sentiments, police said.

Complainant Joseph Dias said that some scenes and dialogues of the film hurt sentiments of Christians and made a mockery of priests.

"The priest is shown in a poor light and hence the film has made a mockery of the Christian sacrament of marriage and the faith. It is a misrepresentation of priests and the community. The dialogues with double meaning are unprintable," said Dias, general secretary of the Catholic-Christian Secular Forum.

A first information report (FIR) was registered at Mumbai's Bandra police station under Sections 295A (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code, police said.

"A complaint has been registered against the producer, director, writer, actors of the film and others," said an official from the police station.

The FIR did not mention names of the filmmakers or the actors, he said.

"We are investigating the matter and will make arrests if the actors or the filmmakers are found guilty," the official said.

"Kya Super Kool Hai Hum" is produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Sachin Yardi. A sequel to the 2006 film "Kya Kool Hai Hum", it has Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh, Sarah Jane Dias and Neha Sharma in lead roles.

I'm not Bollywood's only 'tiger' of marriageable age: Tusshar

Actor Tusshar Kapoor, 35, says he may be a bit old, but when it comes to marriage there are older 'tigers' in the industry waiting to get hitched.

"There are older people than me in the industry who have not got married yet. I wouldn't like to name anyone, but I am not the only tiger in the industry, " Tusshar said here, perhaps taking an indirect dig at "Ek Tha Tiger" star Salman Khan.

For now, the actor is just happy teaming up with younger actresses on the big screen. In his latest release, adult-comedy "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum", he has been paired opposite Neha Sharma. And he says he would love to work with her again.

"Next film with Neha for sure. I think she is beautiful, she is lucky and she is pleasant to work with. I like working with young girls because I think it makes me feel younger, " said Tusshar.

Most of the actor's films have been produced by his sister Ekta Kapoor. He says she is the only producer who knows his true value.

"Ekta pays me the most of all my producers, she knows my true value. I get my full price for all her films, " said Tusshar.

Tusshar Kapoor is the latest actor to get stalked

Tusshar Kapoor is the latest actor to get stalked. One of his crazy fans Shikha from New Delhi keeps following him whenever he is in the capital

Recently she not only stood outside his hotel but also gave him a cake and flowers.

Yup, Tushki does have his share of female fans believe it or not!

Ekta knows tricks of the trade

Tusshar is impressed with his sister Ekta Kapoor's business sense, and says she has understood the tactics of survival in the industry after years of hard work.

"Ekta has learnt the tricks of the trade, but there is a lot of hard work too which she put in all these years. She has come to a stage where now she knows she has got a good team and now she can go ahead. One takes time to understand a business, " Tusshar told.

The 35-year-old agrees that after churning out films like "Kyaa Kool Hai Hum" and "The Dirty Picture", his home production Balaji Motion Pictures has become popular for its bold films. He feels proud such films have been a hit with the masses.

"A lot of our films have been bold and they have done as well. There is a way to mix commercial and art and that is what Ekta has learnt to do, " he said.

Tusshar plans to follow his sister's footsteps, and wants to produce a film as well. But he's waiting for a good corporate tie-up with a nice director and script.

Dildo-la spoof not aimed at Bhansali's Devdas: Tusshar

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is said to be upset with a spoof on his movie "Devdas" in the film "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum". However, actor Tusshar Kapoor says there was no intention of hurting anyone.

"I don't have any information about whether he is upset or not. But even if he is, when he sees the film, he'll get an idea that we have not made fun of the film," said Tusshar.

The adult-comedy has a scene where the actresses, Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias are dressed as Chandramukhi and Paro, while Tusshar Kapoor is seen as Devdas. It is this scene which has reportedly rubbed Bhansali the wrong way.

But Tusshar says the scene is not a mockery of Bhansali's "Devdas" alone.

"It doesn't really connect to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Devdas'. The old ones ('Devdas' movies) also had Paro and Chandramukhi and the costumes were also the same, and Devdas even had a bottle in his hand. So this is no one's copyright.

"But I don't think he is upset. His 'Devdas' was a hit film, that's why we have imitated it. If it not had been a hit, there would not have been any mention of it. He should be happy and I am sure he is," added the 35-year-old.

"Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum", releasing Friday, also features Riteish Deshmukh.

I'm sad if a good film flops: Tusshar Kapoor

When a bad film doesn't work, it doesn't upset Tusshar Kapoor. But when a genuinely good film fails to get the right response at the box office the actor feels bad.

"If the film is genuinely bad, then I don't feel so bad. But if the film is good and a lot of issues were involved while making it or it is not been released well, then I feel bad. That leaves me depressed, " Tusshar told.

One such project is his last film "Chaar Din Ki Chandni", directed by Samir Karnik. It didn't get the expected response from the audiences, leaving Tusshar disappointed.

"I felt it was a good film, but didn't get its due share. Something happened between Samir and me because of the finances. I feel that also came in the way of success. However, everything is sorted out now, " he added.

In a decade-old career, Tusshar, son of veteran actor Jeetendra, has seen many highs and lows, but he has no one to blame. He takes the onus himself.

"Sometimes we need to look into ourselves. That is very important. We always like to blame others, but we don't realise when we choose something wrong. Sometimes we end up signing the wrong films, " he said.

Tusshar started his Bollywood career with 2001 film "Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai" and went on to do films like "Kyaa Dil Ne Kaha", "Jeena Sirf Mere Liye", the "Golmaal" series and "Shor In The City".

Critics have also not been in favour of the 35-year-old actor on most occasions, but Tusshar is unfazed.

"Word of mouth is more important. If the film gets respect and if the critics give it good ratings, then it's even better. Sometimes they (critics) are also wrong.

"Out and out commercial films get good ratings and some interesting films don't get good ratings. At the end of the day, it's all just a view point, " he said.

Tusshar is now gearing up for the release of "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum", which hits the theatres July 27. It is the sequel to 2005 film "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum".

The actor, younger brother of film producer Ekta Kapoor, calls the new film an "alternate comedy". It is replete with double innuendos which could catch the fancy of audiences that appreciate adult humour.

"You can call it an alternate film. It is a comedy but with a different kind of humour. So this shock value is probably working to the advantage of the film. Some people tried to copy this formula, but they flopped, " he said.

Directed by Sachin Yardi, "Kyaa Super..." also features Riteish Deshmukh, Neha Sharma and Sara Jane-Dias. Tusshar admits working on the film was a challenge.

"In "Kyaa Super...", I am playing a character which I have played before, but Sachin made it so hard for me. He made me do 8 to 10 takes to get one shot right. He made me struggle, which is also good, " he said.

Kyaa Super Kool... cast celebrates Fakru's birthday

That Fakru, the adorable pug, is as much a hero as Tusshar and Riteish Deshmukh in 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' is evident.

What next? The film's producers are hosting a birthday bash for the star canine on Wednesday. It's truly a dog's world, as Fakru is being treated to a five star hotel bash to be attended by the film's cast, Tusshar, Riteish Deshmukh, Neha Sharma and Sarah-Jane Dias.

Given that Fakru's voracious sexual appetite is used to support Riteish's livelihood (in the upcoming film), the former will be rewarded for his 'hard work' by being given a massive cake bearing an image of Sunny Leone, the current symbol of ultimate desirability!

Talk about marketing and entertainment going to crazier levels!

People enjoy Naughty Comedies

Riteish Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor have teamed up again for Kya Super Kool Hai Hum, a sequel to 2005 surprise hit Kya Kool Hai Hum. Sreya Basu in conversation with the actors in Mumbai

Do you think all audiences can relate to a film like Kya Super Kool Hai Hum?
Riteish: When we came up with Kya Kool Hai Hum, we were not sure how audience will receive it. But the film had its own audience and was successful at the box office. So now we have made Part 2 of the film after almost seven years of the first one.

Kya Kool Hai Hum was a naughty comedy and so is Kya Super Kool Hai Hum only more exciting, crazier, wilder and cooler. I am sure a lot of people enjoy naughty comedies.

Do you think the film will be a bigger hit than the first one?
Tusshar: I don’t know about that. But all of us have worked really hard. Also, the script of this film is more entertaining than the first one. We made our focused group to hear the draft and started shooting only after they liked it.

We have tried to make a very, very good film. I think the audiences will make a film hit only if it is a good one, without comparing it with the first part. They just want their money’s worth…they want entertainment worth Rs 200 that they are paying for a ticket.
Naughty comedy has become a trend today…
Riteish: We are not talking about trends. Years back we did Kya Kool Hai Hum which was a huge hit. So it’s not that we are not bringing something very new. We are sticking to our genre and just updating it with the kind of humour that people like today. Audiences have matured today and we made sure the film has impact on youths who were below 18 seven years back.

Do you think just the humour factor is enough to make the film a hit?
Tusshar: Not at all. The foundation, that is, the story and screenplay have to be good so that the audiences get engrossed. Then you have to add the humour, jokes, dialogues, etc. We tried our best. Now I hope the novelty factor works for us.
Riteish, you have even sung in the film. How was it?
Riteish: It was great. When Meet Brothers told me that there are four stanzas in the song Hum toh hain cappuccino that have to be sung in Marathi, I was glad that they chose me. We had a great fun recording the song.

After that, Meet Brothers told me, Let us have a Marathi version of Cappucino. So then, we had an entire Marathi Cappuciono recorded…it has the same tune but different lyrics.

The songs from the film are already topping music charts. What are your favourite numbers?
Tusshar: Every day there is a different one. Right now it’s Hum toh hai cappuccino…it keeps ringing in my ears. There is something about the song that has germs of a hit.

Riteish: I like Shirt Ka Button very much. It’s an absolute romantic song and the lyrics are very different. Also, the way the song has been choreographed is really good…there is no comedy, whatever the guys are saying it’s from their hearts.
The pug Fakru plays an important role in the film. Tell us more about him.
Tusshar: Well, he is the third hero of the film. He is a man of today and very generous. He believes sharing is caring. He is very loyal and the bread-earner of the family.

Are you considering a third part?
Tusshar: Why not? If a third part is made, definitely we (Riteish and I) will star together in it. But this time it will be quicker and not after a seven-year-gap.

Though the actor insists that he is not a ‘chai-pakora guy’, he loves to get wet in the monsoon.

Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' music a 'kool' affair

Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum` music a `kool` affair
Music Director: Sachin-Jigar, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Meet Bros Anjjan

Lyricist: Mayur Puri, Kumaar

Singers: Vishal Dadlani, Sonu Nigam, Sukhwinder Singh, Daler Mehndi, Riteish Deshmukh, Neeraj Shreedhar, Kailash Kher, Swaroop, Meet Bros Anjjan

Rating: ***

In 2005, "Kyaa Kool Hai Hum" wrote a new chapter in the genre of comedy films and its much awaited sequel promises to tickle our funny bone once again. One gets a feel of it through the soundtrack of "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum" -- a peppy and funny album, totally in sync with the essence of the movie.

The album starts off with "Dil garden garden ho gaya", which has Vishal Dadlani crooning in his high-pitched voice well supported by modern techno sounds. The track has a very youthful touch and is bound to be noticed. It also has a remixed version, which isn't radically different from the original track.

Some electronic beats have been added to the composition, but the remixed song fails to create the desired effect. It's better to stick with the original.

Next up is "Shirt da button". It is an unusual title for a romantic song. The lyrics are a bit comical, but Sonu Nigam's voice carries the track on its shoulder and delivers it with perfection. Sonu has sung it so beautifully that the song touches you instantly.

The use of handclaps to give it a qawwali feel in between also works well for the composition. It also has a second version, albeit in a slower avatar.

The alternate track has been sung by the soulful Kailash Kher in a mellowed down manner. It has more of a qawwali touch, which takes one back to the song "Tu jaane na" from "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani". It's hard to choose the better one here as both the versions are equally compelling and are an absolute treat to the ears.

"Hum toh hain cappuccino (UP-Bihar lootne)" is a twisted version of Shilpa Shetty's famed dance number "UP-Bihar lootne". It has vocals by Daler Mehndi, Sukhwinder Singh, Swaroop and actor Riteish Deshmukh.

The song fills you with nostalgia and instantly grows on you with the array of voices that keep you hooked. The song has a very raw feel and has a surprise as Riteish donned the writer's hat and penned the Marathi lyrics for it.

Next up is an out and out dance number titled "Volume high karle". Sung by NeerajSridhar, the song is high on electronic and techno beats, but the lyrics are very ordinary and the composition deserved a better treatment.

It also has a remixed version, which like the original, falls short of expectations. Even with the addition of powerful beats, it doesn't create the desired effect.

The final verdict - the music of "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum" has some highs and lows, but deserves a hear as it manages to lift your 'kool' quotient.

Ekta: 'Kyaa Kool Hai Hum' series is Bollywood's answer to 'American Pie' series

Ekta: `Kyaa Kool Hai Hum` series is Bollywood`s answer to `American Pie` series
She describes "Kyaa Kool Hai Hum" series as Bollywood's answer to "American Pie" series. But Ekta Kapoor is miffed that the censor board has snipped three scenes from the theatrical trailer of "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum". She blames it to existing prejudices in the Hindi film industry.

Anurag Kashyap's "Gangs Of Wasseypur" had coarse and crass language too, but it released without cuts. So what is the hullabaloo around "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum"?

She replied saying, "There's a big difference here. That's Anurag Kashyap - you know how it is. Everything that Balaji (Motion Pictures) does or any mainstream filmmaker does, will always be considered to be cheap and crass."

"If Dibakar (Banerjee) would have made this film, it would have a totally different effect. So we always suffer prejudices in Bollywood, and we just fight constantly, " she added.

The 37-year-old is upset that the censors are not letting the movie's original promos reach the theatres, but she doesn't blame them for double standards either.

"We never had issues in the film's first part. I think our society was so much cooler at that time. Now suddenly everyone raises a question, everyone asks 15 questions. So we have a sanitised, boring promo in the theatre for the ones who will be seeing 'Bol Bachchan', " said Ekta who was in town to show the uncut version of the trailer.

"A-rating programming is allowed on TV after 11 p.m., then also we are not allowed to show anything. There is so much prohibition in society for everything and because anyone can raise a question. Everyone is so scared. I don't blame the censors. They are under so much pressure. People are ready to file a PIL (public interest litigations) against everything... it's really curbing the creativity."

"I thought the first part of my series in 2005 would have to face all this. We are in 2012, for god's sake! It really seems like the world is coming to an end, " she quipped.

But she points out the biggest challenge is that "any kind of double meaning in Hindi sounds crass".

"Very strong research once said that the real problem with our language is that it is so restrictive. The American language has extended itself to slangs and made itself more colloquial, " Ekta observed.

"Hindi has not taken any such extension because of which there has been stagnation in the language. So it is much tougher to write a Hindi comedy with double meaning because we didn't want to go crass, " added the filmmaker, who has produced films like "Love Sex Aur Dhokha", "Ragini MMS" and "The Dirty Picture".

However, she believes the Sachin Yardi-directed movie, releasing July 27, has adult humour in measured amount.

"We wanted to go funny with adult humour. Some portions could probably hurt some sensibilities. But on the whole, the film has tried to keep its humour funny without being offensive, " she said.

Cracking jokes in Hindi is an uphill task "because they sound worse than they sound in English, " said Ekta.

" 'Delhi Belly' was made in English because they clearly realised the power of that language in making things sound much better than they are.

"For us, it has been a struggle to make Hindi a language where double meaning doesn't go into becoming another lowest common denominator and this just turns out to be another film, " said the filmmaker.

She has brought her brother Tusshar Kapoor and actor Riteish Deshmukh together after seven years for the franchise, which hits the screens July 27.
